I think Catterall will put up a better fight than many people think. Dont think he will win mind you.
People saying they will watch Taylor Catterall instead must be bsing. This isn’t a PPV fight, it’s free to air on DAZN. The first fight was close, obviously I’d rather Parker fight Hrgovic or rematch Whyte but this isn’t a bad fight.
Josh Taylor is one of our 2 current elite World Champions and I will be watching his fight. Paint Dry Parker v Pudding Chisora or either fighter versus anyone has little interest for me but I would watch if Taylor was not fighting.
Enjoyed the first fight...actually thought its exactly the type of fights we,ve been missing. 2 gatekeepers that could probably push on after a good win. Its usually the type of fight boxers avoid waiting for an easier route. But please not again. Lets not waste careers on immediate rematches and trilogies. Give guys like joyce, hrgovic, hunter, bakole a chance even luiz ortiz etc. Loads of decent matches to be made.
Boring. 2 ridiculously overhyped fighters. Average at best Yet probably still on Ppv never understood the love in with Chisora lost every decent fighter every faced just a plodder talks a power of shite and Parker a heavyweight that seems to be scared to try knock anyone out. Both will be knackered by 3rd round safe to say will be watching the Taylor fight
stick it in a car park so chisora can jump on cars and do his hard man act how he will kill someone or some other crap he will no doubt say
You would watch but no doubt you would watch it without paying for it (via legal means, of course). He always does that. Hard man act then stink it up in the ring. He must be laughing his bollocks off at the mugs who pay, but at the same time I think that it goes to his head. The guy's full of himself.
It'll be the only DAZN UK show in December. £8 to watch a Parker v Chisora rematch is about £9 too much.
Don't get the notion that Chisora is an entertaining fighter in the ring. One of my mates said it yesterday to me. He's knackered after 2 rounds then just spends the rest of it holding and headbutting. Horrible to watch.
I'm in Manchester on that weekend, Have my 7 year old with me. Anyone know if there's an age restriction for attending these fights Could do with a break/rescuing from the family weekend we have planned.
Agreed. Chisora has never been entertaining. Very clumsy, sloppy, unfit fighter with an inhuman chin.
Almost doesn’t matter though. Chisora’s ‘value’ is the antics in the press conferences, the weigh-ins, Sky Sports News, iFL etc. Most people probably feel they’ve got their money’s worth from him before he steps in the ring, and he probably feels his job is done by fight night - the PPVs or DAZN subscriptions are already sold. So what if he loses again, or stinks the joint out again? For some reason, people seem to forget that, and just remember all the dramas in fight week.
