Parker vs Dubois

This is the risk, Dubois may just throw more. Parker is defensively sound and has a decent chin, but he can get outworked, especially if he comes in at 260 lb.

 

Parker outboxes him, Parker IMO is in contention for the best in the division atm, he can box, but now also is willing to hold his ground and hurt opponents if he has to.

 

Let’s get this made. I would favour DDD as I think Parker may be a bit cautious, but happy to be proved wrong

 

Parker will outbox him and probably stop him late.

But I don't want to see that fight yet.

 

Parker defeats Dubois in a smart way without engaging in any exchanges with him...

 

There's absolutely no reason for Dubois to fight Parker at this moment with the Usyk Fury winner on the horizon for him.

 

Dubois wpild destroy Parker. He beat the shell of Wilder who didn't throw a punch and an old man in Zhang who he bored the tits off of. Would've got cleaned out if Zhang was younger. Easy to predict.

 

If there's no rematch I'd love this fight.

Plus it gives room for a AJ v Wilder fight to happen.

I think Parker would have to resort to his older style: fleet slinky footed, counterpunching on the backfoot but slightly in the pocket (medium distance). Because he's not gonna be able to effectively pressure DDD IMO. Point scoring and potshotting.

DDD would just have to stick to his ramrod jab, while getting in range to land his hooks & maul him. DDD's in-out footwork is good too - a bit too quick for Paintdry.

60-40 DDD.

 

Agree w/ the OP that this is a top fight that should happen. Parker deserves a big bout.

I think it's a pick 'em fight. Many will lean toward DDD based on his recent demolishment of AJ.

Most of AJ's rep is based on beating old guys with big names, well past their primes... Wlad, Pov, Pulev.

Still a good win for DDD last w/e. Both are on good runs. I think it will be a close fight.

DDD, shy and awkward that he is, seems like a decent chap. But Parker is a great sport and will be pulling for him.

 

Fun matchup 50/50 for me.
