Rather Parker move on and fight someone else.

The thing I dont get is, this was Hughies biggest payday, 1.7 million! A title shot! Its about the money, he couldve just tried like James J Braddock and taken a fall for 1.7 million dollars that hes never ever seen before in his life. Unless!...unless he's gotta a bigger money fight just put together or, he's using drugs and knows he'll come up positive. This is my speculation as I dont believe he's injured and Im trying to make sense of it all.

I don't think anyone believes he is injured.

If he is, why aren't they disclosing what the injury is?

Excellent suggestion, if you offer the money up-front to put the fight on in the USA later this year, I'm sure Team Parker will be up for it.

 

Duco have already said they won't deal with the Furys again unless they "pay a big, big sum of money up front. Then the trust issues disappear."

 

Forget about the Fury's. They've had their chance.

It was good the WBO gave Parker the green light straight away, and an indication of what the WBO thought of the Fury withdrawal.

 

The WBO aren't off the hook as far as I'm concerned.

They have allowed Hughie Fury's promoter to "play" the Kiwis.

They installed Hughie as the mandatory at the behest of his promoter despite the fact he hasn't fought anyone, insisted on purse bids despite the fact Hughie never had any intention of fighting in NZ & on the eve of the fight have said Parker can have a voluntary if the opponent is chosen from the WBO's top 15.

The WBO are as culpable as the Fury's in terms of what's gone on. They've done more than simply allow it to play out. They've actively facilitated it.
