I don't understand... is it just now that Parker's team realizes they have been played for months, and everything is set up for him to get his belt jacked if he fails to KO Hughie?!

The reactions seem like it's only just sinking in with them.

If not, then they are superbly adept at collectively playing the role of the simpleton in this sorry saga.

Im with you on that, I was on the fence... Im a Parker fan having spent 5 years in NZ, I watched alot of his early fights... but Hughie is a brit and normally like to route for the home team.

But the way this has been handled, I remember seeing John and Peter fury running through the halls of arena on Fight night in Germany when Tyson fought Klitschko screaming the Fight if OFF which WK supposedly pulling all sorts of tricks. Looks like they are giving Parkers team some of the same.

Again, I have also liked the fury's but this has been a **** show from the start.

Anyway, Saw Parker saying in an interview that he was going to be basing himself in the UK from now on. Think that would be great for him and if he comes through this would love to see him link up for a bigger promoter like Matchroom... I dont see him beating Joshua but think he can hold his own with the rest of the division and would like to see him on some of these bigger shows.

Team Parker banked on Hughie Fury pulling out, now they realise that's highly unlikely they are shitting themselves. As If Peter Fury picks the refs or judges ffs.

I really hope Hughie does him. And if so I'd rather it's a totally clear slick 12 round UD to build up a Joshua fight. Hughie's a good lad. Never says anything idiotic (well apart from "lion's nest") and keeps his head down.

    Wow. What a shambles.

My favourite part was being told you can watch videos on the internet now.

This has to go down as one of the worst promoted "big fights" ever.

I hear they are both getting 1mill purses, they are going to take a huge loss.

So apparently they've raised the price of the PPV from £9.99 to £14.99? Can anyone confirm?

Reports on Twitter also suggest the fight has sold less than 3,000 tickets so far - Bob Arum said this last week too.

    What a total TRAIN WRECK.

So Gareth from The Office is part of Parker's team ?
    He's a promoter ?

And was that Francois Botha or what ?

    Terry O'Connor is Peter Fury's cousin ??

Am I losing the plot ?

I thought it was some mental gypsy gatecrasher when I first saw this. From a rival clan.
And when Peter said "go have a line" I figured it must have been one of his old customers ....
