parker beats haye. haye never once beat a good hw who wasnt either old or shot.

people talk about hayes power and speed, obviously he has that in abundance, but he would be out toughed by the bigger fitter parker. stopped round 7

Haye crushes him, I would pick Ortiz, Fury & Joshua to beat him at this stage, even then he's in with a good chance of winning, especially with Joshua.

Haye is still world class and hits like a mule, so I'd probably favor Haye to pull it off. Not sure Parker is ready for a fighter with the experience of Haye right now.

Either Haye by ko in the first 3 rounds or Parker by ko around the sixth or seventh round. However I doubt Haye will take this fight if he cant dictate the terms...

Haye KO, would look a bit like the Chisora fight.

Parker's defense is picking up quite quickly, it's hard to know what to expect with the next fight etc. Remember he is still in his early days relatively speaking

Haye is a washed-up 36-year-old who can't get through a proper training camp. He admitted that a few years back and retired because his career was over. Since then, he came back and did nothing. The two guys he fought this year were total cans.
His last real fight was Chisora, 4 1/2 years ago.
Probably his best win at heavyweight ever, since all his other wins were old men, has-beens. One of them was a 39-year-old Audley, FFS.

Haye was never much good as a heavyweight anyway. His best result might be running for 12 rounds against Wlad in embarrassing fashion.
I doubt Haye could fight more than 4 rounds against a fighter with a pulse.

Not sure why people are saying Haye's still a top fighter.
Or why they ever bought into him as being something special.

I'd go with Haye, more experienced, more polished. Little older, but hasn't slowed down appreciably.

Fair call, but we can't be sure exactly where Haye is until he gets tested against better opposition again.

Sounds like we will get an answer to the question raised in this thread sometime early next year.

Haye is some mythical creature in the HW division but everytime he steps up its awful fight with no punches thrown and hes gun shy against bigger, stronger opponents and the excuse is Haye is natural CW and too small. He bulked up now so lost some speed even.

Not sure how good exactly is Parker as well,Takam fight was pretty competitive but then again Takam was even until he gassed vs Povetkin in Russia too.

Haye is 28-2 and has had one loss at heavyweight - to Wlad - who easily beat nearly everyone else as well.

Haye was never going to blast the better heavyweights outa there like he did the cruisers. If he'd taken the same caution to the wind approach he would have just plain got KOed.

Where Haye is at now we can't be sure of until he gets tested against better opposition again.

... and Povetkin had an unfair advantage in that he was on a PED which enhances stamina which wasn't yet banned at the time of that fight, if he didn't have that then it could have been much closer - if not a different outcome.
