This looks quite likely - to decide who fights Usyk for the WBO belt.

    Who do you pick?

I hope Usyk fights them both.

If they do fight, I predict that Parker does just enough to lose.

He is a bit like Danny Jacobs in that respect.

Parker is more than capable of beating Joyce. His durability and stamina, as well as boxing skills make him a difficult opponent for Joyce.

I cannot see Joyce being able to wear him down and stopping him. So it would go to the cards.

I would fancy Parker to edge it on the cards. I just feel he has the style to win the majority of action in the majority of rounds against Joyce. So long as he hasnt deteriorated alot since the last time I saw him, which we cannot rule out.

However I do understand that Joyce is in line for a direct shot at Usyk. If AJ steps aside and doesnt defend.

In a fight between Parker and Joyce, I'd take Joyce. Parker has never impressed me. I think Parker is the only person in the top 40 or 50 who went 12 rounds with Razvan Cojanu. Joseph edged Ruiz and Hughie years ago. Neither was impressive, honestly. I can't remember ever watching Parker and thinking he was the best heavyweight in the world ... or that he could beat the guy who was.

I thought he managed to beat a good version of Andy Ruiz Jr very well. He won the majority of the rounds and was in control.

That win looks fantastic considering what Ruiz Jr did to AJ.

Joyce would beat Parker I reckon. I'd be rooting for Parker though.

Parker-Ruiz wasn't a fantastic fight then or now, IMO. Nobody brings it up anymore. I didn't come away thinking Parker was the best heavyweight in the world after that fight or that he could beat the best heavyweight in the world. Frankly, I was expecting Parker to handle Ruiz much easier, given I thought Liakhovich could claim he beat Ruiz. There was a lot of buzz around Parker at that point. I'd seen Ruiz for years, and I knew he wasn't anything to write home about.

The fact that Parker followed it up by going 12 with Cojanu and eaking out a win over Hughie Fury, only added to the disappointment.

If Parker fights Joyce and beats him, I'll be surprised. Let's put it that way. Parker hasn't impressed me.

I really enjoyed Parker-Ruiz - but it could have gone either way. No close card would have been bad.

    Fun fight.

Parker needs to step up his pacing.

I can see him getting stuck outside late and cruising. Can't lose rounds like that. Needs to dominate the first half of the fight.

I thought Ruiz edged it but it was by no means a robbery. The scores reflected the closeness of the bout and seemed fair to me.

Samoans apparently do not take losses well........Tua was done after the Ike loss........and Parker has literally disappeared after his two losses.

If Parker is so great he should have never ever lost to that crude punch bag Whyte..............the same guy who was laid out face down by a stone old shot Povetkin.

Obvious conclusion: Parker is done, stick a fork in him.............to turn it around he would have to make fundamental changes in a trainer/camp/promoter /country where to train in.....aint happening.

Will Parker throw caution to this wind and take some chances with loaded up power shots? If he FINALLY does decide to do that, I think he can beat Joyce. If he is tentative and hesitant like he has been for nearly his entire career, then Joyce wins with the jab.
