Not quite where I was thinking, but the Samoan heritage coupled with a Kiwi sense of humour has worked well for the likes of Stephen Adams lifting his profile in pro sport.

Parker and his team are really close to the CEO of the MGM and his family. I see some big fights there in the future.

So we're getting Parker vs. Haye, then, potentially (not contingent upon Parker beating Ruiz, which is a given - but upon Haye wanting to enforce his WBO mandatory position instead of forgoing the belt & seeking out a less dangerous payday)

    Nice.

No because Haye looks like he will be fighting for the WBA regular or interim so he will be moved out of the WBO rankings

Haye would have to agree to the fight first. I have doubts that he'll want to go this route, Parker is a very risky fight and Parker isn't a huge draw, he won't likely get the kind of huge pay off he's looking for against Parker.

If Haye is a going to risk getting beaten it will have to be against an opponent that the British fans know and can draw a big PPV crowd like when Golovkin came over to fight Brook.

Who has Haye beaten to make it into mandatory position for the Parker/Ruiz winner?
Last time I saw him he was "fighting" the likes of de Mori and someone called Garbage. Did I miss something?

Nope, that tournament was never gonna happen. Ortiz vacating has no bearing on whether Joshua Klitschko is approved.

To be fair, who has Ruiz ever beaten to get a shot at the vacant belt.
