PARKER vs TAKAM - HW WAR of the YEAR

Thinking about how fit Takam is looking, I did a bit of research on how he came into previous fights - he is coming in at 10+lb lighter than he did against the likes of Perez and Povetkin... that is quite a lot "better" shape than he has in some of his best performances, at least in terms of what kind of speed he's likely to come along with. If he sacrificed little (if any) power then he really will be the best Takam we've seen - could be pretty quick!

 

On that note:

Joseph Parker: 106.4kg
Carlos Takam: 109.4kg

 

Yes, I noticed that too. Amazing what the chance of a big payday against Mr. Cash Cow AJ does for motivation lol.

My biggest fear is that the predicted thunderstorms during Sat night will affect the satellite signal, and drop Sky TV......

Costa was a simply brazilian made bum..... with a fabricated/padded record, and who was cashed out against higher paying,stiffer opposition :deal c plus level at best and made to make Parker look sensational hat

 

I'm not comparing the two fighters, only predicting the type of KO that Parker will get. Big right hand after opening Takam up with a double-jab.

This is a fight that will show how much power Parker has. We know he has good speed- maybe even great speed. But how hard is his punch? we will see what he can do with Takam and then we can start to rate his power at the B plus operating level:thumbsup Im not sold on his power just because he made a number of C level fighters quit. I need to see him do that to REAL fighters before i think better of him and his game. Id like to see how he fights a guy who has head movement and can counter punch etc. I know its baby steps for baby Joseph, but now is the time to show what hes got. I have my money on him, but a loss wont be the end of him all the same :deal :thumbsup
