Round 2 - Williams corner calls for body shots but he hasn't been able to close the distance enough. Parker continues to pump the jab, then the one-two with the left and right connects. Tank connects with a solid right after the clinch but Parker responds with an overhand right which gets his attention. Parker finishes a three punch combo with a nasty uppercut and Tank has felt his opponent's power there. Another comfortable Parker round. Round 3 - Parker probes and connects on a heavy uppercut, preceded by a tasty right hook. He's lining that right up, just hasn't quite landed flush yet. Parker digs to the body again, showing patience as he builds his attack, clearly out-boxing Tank. Williams lunges forward with the double right hook with seconds left but Parker evades, and after the bell sounds Parker's trainer Barry leaps into the ring and has some stern words for Williams for what he perceived as late blow. Round 4 - The Barry confrontation has sparked this crowd, Parker looking urgent, unleashes three to the body and Williams is down, deemed a slip. Parker adhering to the fight plan, continuing to soften the body, following with some brutal blows as he opens Tank up. Barry calls for more in the corner, as Parker ticks off one more round. Round 5 - Barry urges Parker to keep walking around him and offload to the body, and his charge obliges with some more damaging shots to the gut as Williams can only clinch. Williams swings again as the ref calls the break and he'll have words with him. Fortunate not to lose a point there. The stout frame of Williams absorbing blows like a fresh sponge. Round 6 - Williams' corner throws out some token platitudes as their fighter takes the centre of the ring again, slightly reluctantly. Parker continues to show good restraint, tagging away to the body. Two big uppercuts to the body and Tank doubles over, clinching away the pain. Tank unleashes three overhand rights and at least one of those was felt by Parker. A much closer round as Williams finally did some damage, not sure it was quite enough to score it for him.
round8- Parker measuring with the jab and throwing the overhand right with good success, just seems a matter of time until one of those lands on the button. The nuggety Williams yet unmoved, at least visibly. Parker feinting more, trying to get Tank to drop into uppercut range. Big one-two to the dome of Williams set up by the double jab, lightning quick hands. And another round in the book for the Kiwi. Round 7 - Williams seems buoyed by his late success in the previous round, Parker should be careful not to stand in the pocket in with him. A lot more clinching as both fighters seem to have fatigued, but Parker digs a couple more in and gets some bounce back in his step. Round 9 - Focus the key now in these later rounds as the lag sets in. neither fight cut or dropped as yet. Parker uses his footwork well and corners Tank, throwing ruthlessly to the body as Williams bails out with the clinch. He is feeling those shots, some serious accumulation. Tank is really starting to blow now, each Parker shot sucking more life out of him as they continue to come thick and fast. The clinch is Tank's saviour at the moment. Yep, 10-9 Parker. Round 10 - Final round! Parker rains a swooping right to the top of Tank's head, the hand speed still apparent as the fight winds down. Tank pleads with the ref again, the Aussie wants none of it. Parker flashes high and low as he tries to finish strong, Tank is thinking the same but the gas tank is considerably less.
