The Promoters must have been scrambling to make matches in the leadup to this. Parker said "YES" to other big-name opponents before they offered him Wilder. Here is the interview-
Wilder-Parker is a fight 6 years in the making, wouldn't be surprised if Parker beats an inactive Wilder.
Parker is out of his mind for accepting the fight with Wilder. Wilder will hospitalize him with major fractures in his skull. Parker is a top 20 cruiserweight at most.
I reckon it will be a first round shootout. Parker has been sitting down on his punches and firing back better in his last couple of fights
I think Wilder will come out swinging But will it be a WAR from Rnd 1 ? I guess it's possible. But Parker may wait for the later rounds
Wilder for sure it's the favorite. To be fair if this was unbeaten Parker and he didn't took all the dmg he took through his career, as he eats some punishment in AJ fight, in Whyte fight, in Chisora one and especially in Joyce fight. I don't think his chin is cracked but i don't think his chin is the same as it was as well. If his chin can handle Wilder 1 punch power, he has all the chances to beat Wilder. And what people don't get is, Wilder chin is garbage(my view), and oh all Wilder need is 1 right hand, hell all Parker need is 1 as well.
Parker went where the money was. He lost his 0 a long time ago, along with any credibility, luster and pride he once had. Joyce shatter the notion he couldn't be KO'd. All he cares about is money at this point. A match with Dubois is risky and pays little. A match with Zhang is dangerous as hell and is a probable loss which only pays a bit more. Sure, Wilder will probably send Parker to the Upside Down for a few minutes. But that pays a hell of a lot, I mean, he's headlining a card with Anthony Joshua as his chief support. That tells you all you need to know.
