We have not seen Wilder against enough top boxers

Now we will, and I think he may struggle

Possibly after he beats Parker we might see Wilder fight a top boxer

You really have no confidence in Parker if you're already wanting to talk about who Wilder should fight next, implicitly after he splatters Parker. Wilder has fought Fury three times, he's not afraid to fight anyone and certainly not a washed up Joe Joyce.

If you want to claim that the Whyte and Joshua losses were controversial or fake then that's fine, Wilder's going to be in a more excusive club in your book when he uncontroversially knocks Parker out.

Ortiz would have a more stacked resume if everyone hadn't avoided him until he was officially over 40, save Wilder. Ruiz, Whyte, Chisora, Stiverne, Chagaev, Takam, Miller, Povetkin, Joyce and Joshua all ducked him. If Ortiz had been a hypejob he would have been targeted.

I never said Wilder would beat Parker, only that Wilder won't fight AJ or Joyce.

IF Wilder beats Parker I'll give him full credit.

Point still remains that Ortiz doesn't have a stacked resume, by your own admission even, so therefore Wilder's win over him counts for sweet little.

    Well done, you played yourself.

You're talking about Joshua and Joyce because you have no confidence that Parker will beat Wilder, who has fought better opponents on four occasions by my count. Let's see how Wilder deals with Parker before we start speculating about future opponents and who may duck who.

I don't fetishize "resume", nor do I analyse them as you do. Jalolov's best wins are Sokolowski and Mulowayi aka game journeymen but a win over prospect Jalolov would still count for much more in my book than a win over former titlist turned high level gatekeeper Parker.

Parker needs to break Wilder's hand with his head like the 1st Stiverne fight then take Wilder to a decision.

    Easier said than done

We are about to see what a mobile, aggressive, strong-chinned 31-year-old Parker

will do against a rusty, 38-year-old Wilder who has fought only one round in the last 2 years.

Watch this very telling interview with Parker's trainer Andy Lee below. You can already tell this fight is going to be epic-

"Parker needs to break Wilder's hand with his head like the 1st Stiverne fight"

Assuming that happened! Stiverne and Wilder were both full of excuses after that fight, as usual.

Someone said Wilder throws his right like a "whip"

No wonder he's had those injuries....

But Parker doesn't need Wilder to be injured.

Parker has the movement, the speed and the chin to win this regardless

I think he's safer inside than out. Distance is Wilder's friend.

    Agreed, Salty.

I want to see Parker getting inside and hammering Wilder as much as poss.

What would a series of massive uppercuts do to Wilder?

Where were those attributes against Joyce? Parker is decent but he has found his level. He's getting knocked out on Dec 23rd.
