You may be right. A KO by Wilder is certainly possible.

I just think it is foolish not to give Parker a very strong chance also

We all really want to know how the worlds richest men ended up with Wilder and AJ on the same card but not fighting each other.

If they could not make the fight then there really is no hope they will ever fight each other.

No one wants to watch sleepy Joey Parker fight again. I do not think a single person said they wanted Wilder vs Parker and The Swede vs AJ.

We need Zhang and Hrgovic in with AJ and Wilder to deal with them. We all know Usyk is dealing with Fury. That atleast will rid the division of the inactive trio.

Although Wilder vs Parker is somewhat fun/interesting but AJ vs the Swede is the dumbest fight ever that nobody ever asked for that. So it feels like the most logical switch to switch match ups and have AJ vs Wilder and Parker vs the Swede.

And what if both AJ and Wilder lose?

Unlikely but not lightning striking either.

Both lose? They should have a losers bracket bout. Loser RETIRES or just fades into obscurity. I suppose DW could continue to KO beefy cab drivers and AJ could carefully outpoint pre 40 y/o bouncers.

Live dog or not, I'm pulling for Parker
    .
At this point I'm past it regarding AJ & DW ever fighting. I also think this is a DOUBLE DUCK :gayfight: from each of them.

Parker is a live dog, alright.

He has more than a 50/50 chance in my view

    What I see is simple.

A very active, mobile 31-year old with a good chin

versus a very inactive but powerful 38-year old.

Could Wilder KO Parker? Yes. But don't count the younger man out.

    Having said all that,

Parker has let his fans down multiple times.

I am hoping for a genuine ferocity and intensity in Parker this time

    Do or die.

Parker is OK. He's getting flatlined imo.

Parker has failed pretty much every time he has been asked to step up....i dont see it being any different when he fights Wilder

Yes - he has failed the big tests. The loss to Joyce was by far the worst, in my view.

He knows this is his chance to turn it all around. He has the skills to do it.

But does he have the will and intensity this time around?

I guess Parker has a "name" of sorts

making this fight more appealing to Wilder.
