That is a fair call now.

Parker clearly wants the fight and will accept 35% even though it is a unification fight.

ask for a flat fee its more realistic.
also ask for nz PPV sole rights .
    parker v fury was empty
corjunu was a small hall show which they put on to try and break even.

dont tell the public how much you want keep it in house / much easier to save face them / but in these days of public tweets its not happening .

parker is a good fighter /will pose AJ problems / brings a belt to the table making the fight easy to sell / but seemingly at this moment in time AJ could sell 80000 tickets to fight inoff thered making hearn feel he can milk AJ without risking him / and parker while performing below par v corjanu/ruiz/fury / is still a risk and no reward besides a wbo trinket.

its a hardcore boxing fight and 1 i would like to see / but do not hinder it by putting out unless i get xxx ammount i fighting someone else statements.

I like Parker, but the trouble is no one knows who he is.

Look at the sales of him versus Hughie Fury a month or two back. Absolutely no one gave a monkeys about it. Against a FURY... in a world heavyweight title fight... in one of the most famous cities in the world... live on the largest streaming platform on the planet by far.

And still no one watched it.

He's a good guy, he really is, and he deserves a shot, but he's not box office, so even 35% is too much. I'm thinking between 25-30%. He should get a little bit more than Takam because he brings a title, but it is only the WBO belt when all is said and done, so he shouldn't get that much more.

AJ should pay above the odds if he wants to add another belt to his collection.

Once he clears out all the belt holders he can charge his opponents 20% for the rest of his career or until Fury comes back and gives him a hiding.

Pointing at Fury-Parker and blaming Parker is ridiculous.

Fury was the home fighter and Hennessy the promoter.

it was the worst promotion of a heavyweight title fight ever in the uk

i looked it up and it was said to have done 10k ppv sales in the uk / and a 75% empty arena .

not parkers fault at all like you said but it does show that this fight to make money in the uk is down solely to AJ.

Parker sells out decent arenas in New Zealand - and probably Australia too.

But that Fury promotion was catastrophic.

Agree with all of that except the end part.

Yes AJ would draw a huge crowd whoever he fights at the moment. But there will be more there and on PPV because it is a unification fight - even the casuals understand that AJ could add to his world title belt tally against Parker - and Hearn would ensure by fight night everybody knows who Parker is and that he is the real deal. Something fat Mick failed miserably to do. But Hennessy just failed full stop. An absolute joke that lost him a packet in the process.

That sounds like a very fair percentage for both sides. Parker’s title is on the line and he is an uundefeated, exciting styled fighter

Not to mention that he is the first fighter
to beat one of The Fabulous Furys

    35% is the right number.

I thought originally 33.3% plus all Australian & NZ revenues which would probably equate to 35% overall.

    Get it done, Eddie.

Yep. It is time to get the fight done if both parties actually want to fight.

It was only a couple of days ago that Parker was demanding 40% and not a penny less. Not he is saying he will got to 35%.

A few more days could see his price drop further.

If Fast Eddie really wants to play hardball, he could offer 33.3% which the Parker camp would probably accept.

Anything less & the fight won't get done. Nor should it.

At 33.3% the Parker camp would seek to hang onto Australasian (Aust & NZ) tv rights as an additional sweetener.

So I think that's the bottom line for the fight: 65/35 or 66.6/33.3 plus Australasian tv rights for Parker.
