Just a couple of days until all is made clear. I don't think I have ever seen Parker as confident and positive as he is for this fight.
Agreed. If you asked me two months ago I would have said this is 50/50, I am leaning towards Parker pulling this off now.
Parker is too fast for Joyce. Yeah Parker might get hit by a few bombs here and there, but he will still outbox JJ using the good old "in and out" stuff for a number of rounds until......now here's the part where my hopeful side shines through and Parker really goes after JJ and makes an otherwise boring fight look spectacular..... but i have hoped for that to happen before against lesser fighters, but since his supporters on this page insist that "Kronk Parker" is having his coming out party this time around, Ill sit back and keep hoping for him to light the place up and shock those of us who doubt that he will fight like JJ stole his lunch. Either way, whether its a snore fest or a slugfest, Parker by UD.....
Stormy - always great to hear from the old timers, my friend. Looking forward to the weekend. Make or break for JP.
Woah! Parker is looking genuinely intense in this buildup Finally I think we will see what an amped up Samoan can do
I like both guys. Can’t see Parker destroying Joyce though, the guy is a tank and has a great engine. Parker can beat him on points as the better boxer if he chooses. If he decides on a tear up I would favour Joyce TBH. I think Parker wins on the cards after surviving a knockdown and fatigue in the last few rounds. Joyce will keep walking him down despite losing in the exchanges but will not be able to finish off his man. Then again, I thought GGG would win so what do I know!
I think it’s a fight Joyce can win but for me it’s Parker’s to lose. Parker has lost fights in the past (Whyte) where he had all the ingredients but didn’t want it enough. I like the Andy Lee version, I think he looks more like himself and Joyce is a bit overrated by many. He is tough and stays calm but is extremely hittable and cumbersome. I think (if judging is fair) Parker wins a clear decision
