Parker will do much better against Dubois than Joshua and Hrgovic did.

Regarding all factors, you've got to say this is one of the most perfectly matched HW title fights in a long while

 

Good fight.

One thing that may go against Parker is inactivity. While he was very active last year he's fought once this year and it will be nearly a year out when he comes to fighting DDD.

If DDD starts quickly like he did against Joshua ring rust could result in an early stoppage.

Being out for so long is definitely not ideal prep.

 

IF Parker repeats his form from the fight with Zhang - he will win.

 

Parker can/would KO Dubois.

I am betting hard on that card.

 

Dubois's confidence is sky high, he's a different fighter these days.

Imo he's all wrong for Parker, Parker has only looked good against mediocre competition.

He barely beat Zhang, and as for Wilder, Wilder was a shadow of himself.

Zhang really let Parker off the hook, if Zhang had, had the gas tank to press after the knockdowns, Parker would've been done.

Parker outboxes Dubois and takes it on points imo.

Although I have predicted Dubois to lose his last 3 fights and been wrong every time.

 

I'm obviously backing Parker, but as @CST80 posted before, I fear that Dubois has the advantage stylistically here.

I think Parker is solid and is more likely to lose a decision though, although I wonder if his chin isn't quite as good as it used to be.

 

Parker can win a decision or even a surprise KO...

AJ is a friggin bum who's best win is probably Parker although Parker bricked himself early in that and chose to cruise to a decision loss.

Dubois will destroy Parker. He will put him to sleep in round 5, at latest.

 

I got Dubois by close decision, albeit very tentatively. I think Parker will have the image of AJ mopping the floor in his head and will be extremely cautios on the defensive mode. Dubois will win the majority of the rounds in the first half maybe even scoring a KD. As he slows down later in the fight, JP will gain confidence and start taking the fight to DDD, doing enough to make it close but bot enough to get the nod.

 

I've always been very critical of Parker, but I think he can pull it off, if his chin isn't cracked. Dubious has quit in him and I can seem him getting overwhelmed if he can't land not only punches, but signature low blows and headbutts.
If the chin is cracked (he's taken a lot of damage), Dubious might KO him in the middle rounds.
