Step in with a right hand jab to land a short chopping left hook. That's the way to nab Joshua IMO. It'll take some bottle and decent power to do but if you can fight your way inside I think Joshua might crumble.

AJ is very beatable. But he's still the best Heavyweight at the moment... until Hrgovic arrives.

Parker has a 30% chance of winning.

It is great for a boxer to be underestimated.

    Gives him a big advantage....

    Well that's kind of obvious?
He's not going to slug it out with AJ. He needs to let his hands go, throw combos then duck and get out of the way or clinch.

Good shout. I think the secrets putting your punches together. If you throw singles he comes right back at you. If you put two or three together...because his defensive reflexes aren,t great...it stops him in his tracks. Hes not comfortable defending against 2,s and 3,s. Whyte put his punches together all night. Rarely threw single shots. The quality of his punches werent even good either but it was still enough to stop Joshua in his tracks. He comes back at you but he needs to reset with 2,s and 3,s he doesn't with singles. He comes right back at you mostly if you throw singles. Bearing in mind parker suffers from the same problem...he can't afford to throw them. No one can against Joshua unless you,ve got the length advantage or like klitchko who tried to oldman him by setting him up with the single right. He went about it intelligently tho. Its a mistake trying that with a 74 inch reach.

I say if you put your punches together. Which whyte done quite well...he needed to start pushing joshua back more. Joshua too slow to get out. He's honestly like a truck going backwards. Start putting your punches together. And start pushing him back as the fight goes on.

Whyte got a lot of success with the double jab then followed it up with another. The quality of the jab wasn't,t even great it was the number of punches that caused the problems. Joshua freezes ever so slightly. He doesn't actually punch with you that often. He's most dangerous either after an opponents throws a single shot at him or when he's going forward with the opponent backing off. He doesnt like it when opponents put their punches together tho.

Just hope its the game plan
parker employes for it cause hes capable...plus if he throws singles or goes on the run it won't end well for him.

I,d put money on that izo ugono beating Joshua. Perfect style for it. Puts his shots together very well...and throws heavy.

Parker said he would come into the fight light, so I think he will move and box................Joshua is taking Parker lightly..............

Is a steel plate implanted subdermally into his mandible part of this game plan as well?

I'm pretty sure Joshua can hit a moving target...ask Kingpin.

He's going to have to make AJ respect his power early. He simply can't try and box cleverly when Joshua has no respect for his power. I too will be cheering for Parker, but rather expecting that Joshua will take the win.

I hope Parker gives himself the best chance of victory by coming in at 235 instead of being inexcusably chunky.
