Google this son: When asked if he would see a 75-25 split in profits to Joshua as fair, HEARN didn't hesitate: "No, I think that probably undervalues Joseph Parker." - and that quote is far more recent than your 3 week old Youtube video. I know you will struggle to comprehend this. So I will help you: Whether 75/25 was an offer or even just a throw away line at the time, even Hearn concedes it undervalues Parker and Duco certainly agree with him. So if it ever existed it is no longer relevant or under consideration.
There's better options than Whyte for Joshua.Hearn has Whyte placed at number 1 in WBC , can't see him not wanting Whyte close to Wilder should Wilder avoid Joshua.
Hearn has already done his best to create a roadblock between Joshua and Wilder using Whyte, but Wilder has made it more than clear he wants to fight Joshua in a unification. Hearn is saying himself that Whyte is an option for Joshua should Parker and Wilder fights not get made. Read around. It isn't hard to find.
Joshua will fight Miller before Whyte no matter what Hearn says, fighting Whyte brings no advantage in promoting a Wilder fight. Only one postponing the fight would be the less profitable one demanding 50 % BC then it can't happen next, but we all know it won't anyway. So who is postponing what? Lol
As predicted you didn't read it properly. I'll try and make it even simpler for you: There is no offer on the table from Hearn to Duco. All we have is Hearn telling Duco no to what Duco are suggesting.
There obviously has been an offer from Hearn. In the link below Parker says there in fact have been at least 2 offers from Hearn. If there had been no offer at all like you insinuate then Higgins would have that sprawled all over the media. Parker - "There is improvements on the offer. It keeps creeping up. I think it's nearly where we want it to be," Parker told TalkSport. "I'm willing to take 35 if they're willing to give it." http://www.*******.com/joseph-parker-budges-ill-take-35-fight-anthony-joshua--122612 So according to Parker's own words there's been offers and it's close to the 35% he's wanting. How close we don't know. How has Wilder made it clear he wants the fight with Joshua? By calling him out then hiding behind a ludicrous 50/50 offer we all know will never happen. That 50/50 offer is as much a road block to the fight not happening as Whyte, though the Whyte fight isn't a road block at all in reality, that was Wilder's team creating an imaginary road block as Hearn has made it clear that they don't need to fight Whyte to fight Joshua. Neither side wants the fight next that is pretty clear from what we've seen.
This is true they should of really drawn out the negotiations and only conceded the purse split at a later time when it was getting close to the point where a fight had to be agreed on or not. By giving Hearn so much time to think on things and set up alternatives it means there is less pressure on Hearn. And yes they conceded the split too early making them look desperate. Hearn now will squeeze them more for every last percent knowing he can as they capitulated so quickly the first time. He's already said the 35% offer is a no go and said 25% under values Parker, so it looks like Hearn is looking to push them down to 30% to get this fight made, which I think is fair for both sides.
Personally I don't rate Miller, I think he's just going to be a brutal KO win for Joshua. But I get why Hearn wants it, it helps build the Wilder fight and Miller can talk for days so will help promote the fight. I'd rather Joshua face someone who will test Joshua more, instead of a patsy set up to make him look good as Miller is literally a walking punch bag, his defence is so bad he makes Arreola look slick. But then again looking at the rankings other than the dopers Ortiz and Povetkin there are not many good options if any.
He was even less keen when he was the mando and arguably had a bigger hype to him as a danger man for Joshua.
