IF my aunty had balls would would be my uncle...

Comparing Mike Tyson who was super popular in the mainstream to Wilder who is I don't even know how to respond to that sigh...

Casual viewer doesn't equal pvp viewer sigh, its not that hard to understand..

740+ million Europeans means no one needs US PVP market and in reality only the top few make great living from it..Wilder is a big draw yet is making peanuts.

Wilder on the other hand needs AJ as financially he is pretty irrelevant and the US market is the only one he has got. With out AJ he has no chance to break into any PVP market so really he should be doing it for free unless he is expecting to lose and wants a cash out.

Fury will fight AJ for far far far more than Wilder could offer in his dreams again you are assuming the average Joe will be interest in paying as opposed to just watching something else for free...

    FYI I'm not British....

On the flip side Wilder can't get on US PPV either without Joshua.

We can talk about potential US PPV all we want but fact is this fight currently isn't a US PPV fight, both Hearn and Dibella have made statements confirming that, the only real money coming from this fight is from the UK PPV market and until that changes Wilder asking for 50/50 is ludicrous.

So fans like yourself supporting the 50/50 split are in reality just supporting Wilder ducking Joshua via an unrealistic split demand.

DiBella - "“So do I think [Joshua-Wilder is] pay-per-view? No. I think pay-per-view is counterintuitive for a big fight. I think that fewer eyeballs see it."

DiBella - "But do I think Deontay and Joshua belongs on pay-per-view over here? No I really don’t, actually. I think it belongs on broadcast television.”

    http://www.*******.com/dibella-pay-per-view-dying-wilder-joshua-not-ppv-fight--113510

Hearn - “Joshua against Wilder is an incredible fight in the U.S. But I still feel they need to build Deontay more in the States and listen, we need to build Anthony in the States as well. But I want that fight to be a pay-per-view fight over here and a pay-per-view fight in the UK, and then we can go back to the purses in the olden days with the heavyweights.”

Joshua made £10 mil fighting late sub Takam... Wilders best payday is £1.4mil. Who needs who again?

Joshua made double Wilders best payday fighting Whyte when he had 0 belts and 15 fights...

Haymon will be the biggest stumbling block along with the split. When Joshua fought Haymon's other heavyweight title holder in Martin he demanded options on Joshua, which is why Joshua fought 2 Haymon fighters after Martin. Options on Joshua then when he was being paid £2-3 mill was nothing but now when he makes at least £10-15 mill per fight won't be something Hearn will want to give up as easily, especially as now he has the leverage over Haymon.

Oh I was talking about Joshua Vs Parker, but you're right about Haymon and Wilder. This Haymon figure just needs to come out from hiding if he's causing this much trouble.

Ah OK. The fight has really only seemed hard to make because it's all been done in the media. You've heard about every little disagreement and while I'm sure this was harder to negotiate than an average defence for either of them I think most people thought this fight would happen as both fighters seemed to genuinely want it as did both promoters.

It's only a matter of time now before it is announced.

Not only are Wilders fights free to air, the 1.7m figure was on Fox, NOT a subscription based channel like HBO or Showtime.

In any event, it's all meaningless, what counts is what each guy brings in with regards money. Forget viewer numbers, Wilder could have 20m people watching him on TV, but if he's still only earning $1.5m while Joshua is earning $20-30m then that's all that really needs to be factored in when talking purse splits. Wilder hasn't fought on PPV, if his team had any confidence he could sell a PPV to make it worthwhile, then it would have happened in one of his previous 39 fights.

This, plus the fact Wilders fights are prime time which means he gets out to the biggest audience possible.

Fact is he will be fighting a top 5 HW in Ortiz soon and they'll struggle to sell out the Barclays Centre Brooklyn (19,000 seats) and will still be on free TV.

Joshua will fight #2/3 HW Parker and will likely sell 1+ mil PPV and sell out a 70/80/90000 seater.

This Fight wont happen until it is a US PPV Worthy Fight which is 2 Years away.End of Story. So 2018-London or 2019/2020 Las Vegas.

Hearn is not trying to crack the PPV market in the US. Not yet.
    Are you serious now?

Yes I'm sure he sat down with Wlad and Parker and said this is it guys! Our goal is to crack US market :risas3:

Here's a hint, if Hearn and AJ wanted to break US market they would fight HERE.
They aren't worried about it yet. Genius.

If you think AJ is fighting Parker in Wales to crack US market then you need to join blizzy at your local mental facility.
