Yeah, Parker's team will jump at 30%.

To be fair Hearn doesn't have a great deal of options though, Fury is still fat, Ortiz is banned by the WBA, and Joshua will get criticized heavily if he fights someone other than Wilder or Parker.

To put this into context, Wilder asked for 50/50 as his starting point, so compared to that ...

I would say he has plenty of options... certainly more than anyone else in the division.

He could fight anyone at this point and still make millions. People are lining up at a shot at Joshua.

I mean no disrespect to Parker his camp have been talking about him fighting that Japanese fighter... if that's considered a viable option for Parker... AJ will have a hell alot of viable options.

They won't get 40%, basing it off the Wlad fight numbers that would be around $15 mill, so 10 times what Parker has earned before for a fight.

But it's a good starting point to negotiate. Hearn threw out the 20% figure, they've now countered with 40%, so hopefully they'll meet somewhere in the middle around 30% which would be a fair percentage and close to a possible $12 mill payday for Parker.

So far good signs. No silly demands from either side and they are actually making offers to each other.

You do realise that the money AJ’s events earn would mean a career high payday for Wilder and Parker at even 10%?

So why on earth is he going to give 40% up.

I think it would be more than fair tbh, but i bet wilder would reject it

Boxing isn't like most other sports where tournaments are pre-arranged every year and you just turn up and compete.

So we have to talk about the business side of things, it is a big part of boxing, I'm sorry it goes over your head but it is the way the boxing world works. I can't change that.

He wanted 7-10 mill for Whyte, would be a real turn around and a shock if he accepted 10 mill or less for Joshua. Wilder based off of what he has been saying with the 50/50 split demand and previously refusing big paydays for Whyte and Povetkin will likely want a very large sum to risk his belt vs Joshua. At the moment there might not actually be enough in the pot for both fighters financial demands.

You don't know any of the boxers business side of the sport. All you know is what you read from Hearn.

You just imagine someone said something and make up a response don't you? Most of the shite you spew isn't even related to whoever you're replying to. "FOH!"

Aj should just leave him rot, he will eventually face a can who is tougher than expected and lose.
Then he wont get his big pay cheque, will blow all his money on crack and become the wino he loves so much
