Obviously you don't understand boxing business. Had Parker continued to chase Joshua it would've meant more money for Joshua regardless who wins. By picking up the WBO they now can chase Joshua and get good money for Parker. If Parker unifies the belts by picking up Wilders, then Parker will start seeing major dollars. Bottom line that Ruiz stuff your crying about is pointless. Parkers promoters are trying to get AJ vs Wlad and Parker vs Wilder. That's bloody great. What are you crying about? It's what the people want, real fight nights lol.
I think Wilder demonstrates poor boxing and how not to box. Everything's loose and often over exerts himself rendering him more open than he already is. Parker boxes like a boxer. He's tough with a proven chin and record to boot. Quick hands with knockout power. I'm confident Parker beats Wilder as Wilder is not that good a boxer. More a slugger.
Jesus Christ. You'd think boxing fans would've learned to be a bit more sceptical by now. Parker's just won that belt. Why would he risk it straight away? Expect a few easy defences in NZ to milk the fans over there.
They had a chance for a real fight, but chose to take a detour. Let that sink in. And looking at the current scheme of things, Parker will not be unifying any time soon. But i am hopeful. I get why they took the Ruiz fight. It´s all about the money, and it was a smart move. But we were deprived of a fantastic fight and now have to wait for it maybe to happen. Last unification at HW was in 2011.
That's what I thought initially when I heard the news they were chasing Wilder with Parkers promoter Higgins pleading Wilder to take the fight on TV. He just won the belt!! But it seems they've got the onwards and upwards mentality.
Hope you're right! Think that's a 50/50 fight. A mandatory defence against Hughie Fury wouldn't upset me too much either.
The whole thing is about the money. JOSHUA is about the money, Hearn weren't going to settle for 50/50 or even 60/40 to them so they can take some blame too. Neither fighter is scared of each other so let's get real and neither fighter deserves peanuts for the their efforts which in this case would've been Parker. It's gone now, you should try and get over it and have the ability to look ahead. THATS what we're talking about, not crying and moaning over the past. Wlad vs AJ Parker vs Wilder who wants to see that? Do you wanna see that or do you wanna moan over the understanderble reasons for AJ Parker not happening? Get over it man.
