Parker has 0 KD's and 0 KO's against his 6 best wins, Fury has 5 KD's and 4 KO's against his best 6 and Fury has faced higher quality and more durable opponents from a younger age.

Dubblechin underrates Wilder historically and overrates him contemporarily (it's absurd to say that beating 39 year old Ortiz is better than 39 year old Povetkin and 34.75 year old Usyk) but I appreciate his attempt to add some balance to the ridiculous narrative surrounding Wilder.

Ortiz was better at 39 than Parker will be at any age.

Got a crystal ball do you? Parker has been fighting far better opposition than Ortiz ever has, and he's not even 30 yet.

Parker doesn't have one win on par with stopping Jennings in 7 and maybe not even schooling Hammer. His performance against Cojanu in NZ was atrocious, Ortiz destroyed him in 2. And Ortiz at least tried his best to win against Wilder and gave him problems, rather than being almost happy to lose against AJ and Whyte.

Parker is such a wet wipe that he admitted he wouldn't have complained if he'd lost the decision against Chisora. Compare that to the mentality of nasty pieces of work like Chisora and Whyte and you'll see why meek Mormon Parker (who has more physical talent) loses to them. Parker has already seen his best days because he's made a lot of money, has been a world champ, failed at elite level and has lost whatever little flame he had, happy now to be a sparring partner for Fury. I don't need to crystal ball to see what's painfully obvious.

5/8 of them objectively are. The only one who's won a title is Ruiz and he was a 25-1 underdog who landed a punch from the Gods on a low IQ, chinny champion with a weak heart and a 1L gas tank.

Parker will never be a heavyweight champion again.

Parker has dominated two boxers in the last five years - Shawndell Winters and Alexander Flores. That's it.

As a WBO champ, he made two successful defenses against the truly awful Razvan Cojanu and nearly equally bad Hughie Fury, he couldn't stop either, and arguably lost to Hughie. It was a really pathetic reign. Nobody remembers it. It left no lasting memories.

He'll never outbox or stop Fury or Joshua.

Unless a Shawndell Winters grabs a crown, I don't see much chance of it.

Parker is strange because he was a really sound prospect and contender, but since he turned 25, he's sort of been fading fast.

He was never really all that good as an amateur, either. Maybe he just put together a good four-year run to start his career, and once things stepped up he wasn't really head and shoulders better than ANYONE.

If he can scrape by a 12-round decision against ANYONE really, he seems to feel lucky. That's not what anyone wants in a heavyweight champ these days.

To me, he's sort of just filler in the lower half of the top 10. He's not really a player anymore.

Contenders aren't fringe just because they haven't won a title.

    I scored Joshua/Parker a draw.

Don't care about how crazy I am for doing so since I'm accused of being a Joshua fanboy all the time.

Funny how you **** on Parkers defences but praise Wilders (yes, even before Fury and Ortiz). Parker has at least fought top opposition. Same can't be said for a lot of others.

I'm pretty sure beating Ruiz > Jennings. And you can't see into the future, so therefore it can't be painfully obvious you absolute dunce.

Shawndell was almost blasted out in 1 round by sub-fringe contender and 3 fight novice Alen Babic and former top contender Ortiz stopped Flores in 45 seconds: Parker went 5 and 3 rounds respectively. If that's domination I'd hate to see Parker struggle...

I think you're being harsh on Hughie: he's tall and rangy, has good footwork, speed and defence, an excellent engine, an iron chin, bags of heart, ambidexterity and the most experience of any HW who hasn't yet seen his 27th birthday. He'd only just turned 23 when he fought Parker; in another few years he could have beaten him soundly. I give Hughie the best chance of the aforementioned fringe contenders of getting his hands on a belt after Tyson and Deontay retire.

You're very generous to Parker in saying he's in the lower half of the top 10, I think he's about 10 places lower than that. He's better than Charles Martin, not quite in that tier of paper champ but I can't say much more than that in his favour.
