Yeah I was shocked too. I really like Joshua, at least the person I seen outside the ring on youtube interviews. He seems smart enough to come to his senses about what he just said, I'd imagine him to be cringing once that text came out. Then again, I don't really know the guy. It's an ugly lesson for him though if he is genuinely feeling bad about it.

I have been looking a lot in to it the past few hours.

He has been acting out of his usual character to Fury, and Cassius of IFL tv publicly on social media. This message to Chambers does seem consistent with his outbursts really. I have a feeling we are going to get a lot more of this from Joshua in the future.

You missed the point entirely. Neither Parker nor Wilder have fought unification fights. So where is the surprise their payment for such a fight would surpass what they have previously earned? It is not just logical they would earn more. It is a no brainer that they would be expected to.

Joshua & Hearn both claim they want Joshua to unify all the titles by the end of 2018.

Joshua will likely only fight 2 or 3 times in 2018 (he only fought twice in 2017). So in order to unify the titles Joshua should be looking to make a fight with Parker or Wilder next. Not sit on his thumbs hoping Wilder and Parker fight each other.

And the offers from Hearn would likely see them earn more than they ever have before.

They want to but obviously not at any cost. They probably wouldn't mind if Parker and Wilder fought each other and then Joshua could face the winner for all the belts. Would probably be willing to give them 40% too.

First time i've seen Parker's fight with Takam....

So he had a full camp to prepare for Takam and still looked that bad? Jesus.

You can't even claim it was 'just a bad performance' as he looked even worse against Fury.

    Easy nights work for Joshua.

    Any cost??

They would be keeping 65% of the action for themselves and Parker getting only 35%.

    Any cost

Joshua will have a chance to unify once, Parker will lose to Browne. Parker against Browne looks to be next.....

Because Joshua is the draw, has the more respected resume, titles. In 2005 Bernard Hopkins with 3 MW titles earned $10 million fighting ODLH who had the lesser regarded WBO belt. He also fought at a catchweight(only 2lb but still he had to concede that to get the fight). ODLH earned $30 million +, Joseph is the B-side here and even if he got 20% it would be his biggest ever pay day.

I would go for Joseph over Joshua being an Aussie but being a realist I doubt he beats AJ. Hope he gets the fight and a decent payday but think Parker will go for the low hanging fruit(Lucas Browne)next. Hope Joseph doesn't lose his title before he gets the Joshua fight.

Lucas has fought Matthew ''gator''Greer since coming back. Doubt he beats Parker bar a lucky punch and Parker seems to have a good chin.

As fans we should be looking for this fight to get made not hide behind reasons why it shouldn't.

Neither Parker nor Wilder have fought unification fights. So it is only logical they would earn more than they have for previous fights.

Joshua will make truly astronomical amounts for these fights whether he gets 80%, 65% or any number in between. If he expects a crack at these other title belts he needs to share some of the riches. It is that simple and if Hearn doesn't accept 65/35 it really starts to look like he is avoiding the Parker fight altogether.

As fans yes I would love to see it and coudn't care less what the promoters/backers or fighters get, but it doesn't work that way IRL. But if Parker truly believes he can beat Joshua he should suck it up and take the 20% or what he can get above that.

It would be more than he can earn fighting Lucas Browne and if he beats Joshua the world is his oyster. Going on Parkers last 3 fights I doubt Joshua is avoiding him(I like Joseph but let's be realistic he won a MD on home soil for a vacant title against an obese Mexican who had never fought a 12 round fight). Charles Martin was of similar ability and Joshua smashed him in 2.

Take 20% you say? Defend his world title belt for 20%? I cannot take people who come out with absolute crud like that seriously mate.

Joshua made $10 million pound last fight. Takam $750,000 that's pounds not $$$ if you think Joseph is making more than that fighting Lucas Browne you're dreaming. I gave you an example of a guy defending his 3 world titles for 20% before but you have ignored it. I'm sure it's been posted here in the past.
