So in the entire history of boxing and the entire history of world title fights you can only provide 5 examples where it has occurred before and 3 of them involved the same fighter - Oscar De La Hoya.

Not to mention the most recent of your examples occurred over 12 years ago.

Look I hope the fight get's made I really do but AJ like Oscar is a megastar(getting 75,000 people fighting Takam a late replacement is phenomenal). I just posted that as an example look at Mayweathers opponents purses and some of them had titles. IIRC Floyd didn't bother paying the sanction fee for Mosleys belt.

65/35 is about the right split and should allow the fight to go ahead. Provided both sides want the fight of course.

    Wlad/Haye, Wlad/Ibragimov were 50/50 splits.
    Holyfield/Lewis, Tyson/Seldon were 66. 6/33.3
    Tyson/Tucker was 57/43
    Frazier/Ellis was 50/50
    Ali/Terrell was 74/26

Clearly Joshua/Parker is more like Ali/Terrell in terms of popularity and what they bring to the table.

Surprised Haye v Wlad was 50/50. Their meant to be terrible at the negotiating table with demands

Wlad brought EE money and fans and Haye brought UK money and fans. Made them 10mil each. Think both knew they wouldn't make that money elsewhere.

Parker or Wilder will not give up on their demands, so no way these two fights happen anytime soon. That's too bad because I remember a time when heavyweights wanted to fight each other not to duck by wanting 40% split like Parker wants or 50% split like Wilder wants. Parker and Wilder will lose before they get the money they crave.....

If team Joshua doesn't make unification next Joshua ticket sales will drop. And never mind his racist comments which will influence his ticket sales as well. I heard Hearn thinks that he can get bigger revenue if he raises prices for Joshua fight, wrong thinking Eddie. Fewer people will come to Joshua's fights because of high prices. GBP is getting weaker and weaker every month as well, so that is yet another stumbling block for Joshua future fights doing well.

I think we can expect many more mental meltdowns from Joshua.... And his ticket sales and viewing numbers will suffer because of that.

Yeah makes sense. Pity other boxers don't know what their realistically worth when negotiating at the table !

Joshua's tickets against Pulev sold out immediately. I'm sure he'll be OK raising the prices or fighting non champions.

Obviously that's not what I want. Preferably I'd like him to unify or at least Parker/Wilder to unify and then a mega unification with Joshua. Hopefully that will also get the winner the Lineal championship (surely Fury should be stripped by now?) or if not then the winner faces off against Fury late next year to see who is top dog. Ideally.

I don't know mate, that was a monumental **** up by Joshua. What he said will already effect him imo financially and they'll have an even tighter grip on him from now on !
