My bad, I thought this was a H2H tourney, didn't know it was about who ranks higher for old geezers and boxing historians

So let's exclude one of the hardest punchers and most accomplished MW amateurs ever and include mostly shrimps from the early past century, even if we've barely seen fight some of them

    Agree with part 1.

Don't agree with part 2. He's certainly up there somewhere among boxing's best, and a true legend, but I just can't rate him ahead of guys like Ezzard Charles or Archie Moore. Based on who he fought and the results, I just can't as much as I love Langford.

So for the Featherweight tourney, must they include Lomachenko to be taken seriously?

Amateur pedigree means nothing. Zero. It's a different sport with different rules and different weight classes.

In order to rank high on a H2H list, you have to have proven your H2H abilities against a fighter worthy of some respect among the all time Middleweight scene. Matthew Macklin, Gabriel Rosado, Osumana Adama, Nobuhiro Ishida, and Grzegorz Proksa aren't anything notable in this era, let alone compared to eras past.

Sorry, but your argument dies before it even gets started.

You talking about Middleweight legends as "shrimps" = cool story.

You mentioning Golovkin as a top 10 H2H MW at this point in time of 2014 = epic, epic fail.

Hell at MW you could put 16 to 32 fighters in the mix

Golovkin doesn't belong anywhere NEAR an all-time H2H MW tournament. All of the other fighters that have been listed here would beat him, and quite easily, too.

Already did, and left out a bunch of guys that could have warranted inclusion pretty easily. :nod
