Greb is the best. You really don't even have to had seen him fight when you know he beat the great white Ali, Gene Tunney. And we got footage of Tunney and how great he was. No doubts there.

I wonder if their are old weigh in records of him, I suspect he started at Jr Welterweight, 142 is all I can see, when he was 18 in his 7th fight. It was a loss vs a more seasoned Journeyman named Chip who outweighed him by 14 lbs (possibly was underestimated )

Any info on him hard to find, but his site says he started his amateur career the same year as his pro. Thats unheard of these days.

    Ok.

These are the fighters I'd personally like to see, although not necessarily because they are the most deserving.

    See list below.

Ah, I now see how this works; forget the order of this list.

Hagler, Monzon, SRR etc will all get the most nominations so I'm going to flip my list upside down in order that the less likely fighters get higher points. Hope that's ok.

My list now looks like this:

    1. Roberto Duran
    2. Tony Zale.
    3. Thomas Hearns.
    4. Julian Jackson.
    5. James Toney.
    6. Nigel Benn.
    7. Ray Robinson.
    8. Marvin Hagler.
    9. Carlos Monzon.
    10. Stanley Ketchel.

I'd put the English 90's heroes in it.
Chris Eubank Sr off course, Nigel Benn probably.

I'd like to see Benn in it, too.

Make a list and put him at the top so he gets more points.

Although...short shown. The G-Man could really make it intresting if added.

    1 ray robinson
    2 Sam Langford
    3 Greb
    4 Hagler
    5 Hopkins
    6 Monzon
    7 Roy Jones Jr
    8 Lamotta
    9 Cerdan
    10 Fitzimmons

But I don't think this is gonna be an accurate tournament because a lot of boxers - greb tiger flowers Fitzimmons langford have little or no footage to look at

I agree with that. I'd encourage people to vote based on how they think a fighter would do in a fight, not based simply on their resume. It's difficult to perform a stylistic analysis if you only have fight results and newspaper descriptions to go by, and that creates a risk of creating a fighter who never actually existed.

I haven't submitted a list this time, since I want to remain neutral, but if I did, I'd limit it to fighters I've seen fight extensively and against a variety of opponents.

Did you submit a list? If not, submit one so G-Man gets his due consideration.
