That's why B-Hop is making so much money and taking less punishment, that my friend is what you call being smart and wise :bbb

171 pounds. I don't know why Pascal is talking about moving up eventually. 175 looks like a good weight for him for some time to come.

Depends, Once b-hop breaks his spirit and beats him like he did Pavlik, he will never be the same :bbb

8-4 UD is a pretty clear decision. What about if I say the same thing you do?
After all, only one judge is Canadian.

25% at most, and that would be because Hopkins has run out of gas.

B-Hop is 46 years old and had been there done that, the man is so accomplish and is considered one of the atg plus don't forget the 20 title defenses.

If Pascal is to win, he needs to win impressively, but you know what 8-4UD is fine and good enough so that's fine.

Since B-Hop don't even need to be in this situation, he got enough money and his legacy is already locked, he don't need to win impressively like your boy Pascal because Pascal is just beginning to write his legacy

So you gotta give B-Hop a break and if B-Hop do win and it is a close decision then i'm sure we can let it slide considering the things i just mentioned (age, accomplishments, finances,), B-Hop is just doing this to see if he still got it and can add another notch on his already ATG secured legacy.

    You feel me? :bbb

I'll be shocked if Hopkins wins. Pascal is a very athletically gifted fighter who comes to fight. Whatever flaws he has, i don't think Hopkins will be able to fully exploit due to his age. He'll see the openings but won't be able to pull the trigger.

I feel you. Pascal winning by a wide margin would be better for his reputation.

True, as the last one ever to do it was RJJ in their first bout, and with Pascal trying to copy RJJ's style it would indeed be good for his reputation!!

But again, not possible, nobody looks good against BHop let alone win by a perceived wide margin. I said perceived because the judges might prove otherwise, and make it wider than it actually is :deal

Maybe Hopkins is old and more calm but he didn't look like himself in the stare down. Usually, when Hopkins is considered the underdog, he goes after his opponents in the stare down (Tito, Calzaghe, Tarver, Pavlik, Winky, etc). But he just seemed so calm. I would've rather see him try to intimdate Pascal but Pascal doesn't seem like the type to get intimidated and maybe Hopkins knew it.

    the ref is canadian.

the other judge has always given hometown decisions

regardless... Hopkins is not going to win a close decision in canada..naturally.
he needs to do more than pascal and not let the fight get to the point of decisions.

sometimes hopkins is happy with the ..."yeah you won the fight but you didn't BEAT me" attitude.. He has to come in with that legend making history attitude and fuel from the naysayers.

I expect a bullying infight to pressure pascal and not allow him to utilize his speed and quick hands...pascal would be smart and use his strength and not allow bhop to muscle him against the ropes like dawson was doing to him when he finally defrosted and came to life

I wish Bhop luck and I hope it's a good fight for boxing fans everywhere.
