pascal and stevenson want kovalev!!!!

Any sources suggesting they want Kov? Both are good athletically, have good power (Stevenson has the edge) and both have good chins (Pascal edge). But Kov is technically a better boxer and it all depends on how well Kov's chin takes a punch from either boxer. He may well outbox both of them, but those two have the capabilities to get through a few times. How good Kov's chin is will be tested against those two.

 

I did a google search. Only thing I could find was an article from the ring with the title "Stevensons promoter wants Stevenson/Kovalev in 2015".

But having read the article the headline is misleading. Nothing form Stevenson saying he wants the fight and his promoter only says Duva is sad for discrediting his fighter and that Kovalev is the more popular fighter but Stevenson is THE champion having beaten Dawson.

So it looks like Stevenson is still ducking and running.

 

The only thing pascal and Stevenson want kovalev to do is leave them alone and stop scaring them

 

Not surprised that the only thing that was found was a very vague article. The truth is Stevenson is a limited boxer who will lose sooner or later. He is trying to milk as much money as possible before this. Other than speed, he has no advantages over Kov. Kov is the best in the division and it's only a matter of time until he clears it out. Stevenson will become increasingly more mute until Kov gives him a HUGE payday.

As for Pascal, I like him, but he too is limited and his stamina is pants. Last thing you want is Kov raining punches on you in the second half of the fight.

I really hope Stevenson works hard to make this fight.

 

Highly unlikely. Had the Bhop fight been closer then possible. But the Kov shutout only confirms that he has little chance of out-boxing him. He will be doubting himself majorly now and only a prospective HUGE payday will get him to play ball. He will most probably opt for local big day fights against Pascal and Bute for good money and less risk.
