Pascal - Cloud: Close to a deal !!

Pascal wins a clear UD. Yall musta forgot how many times Clinton Woods and Glen Johnson hit Cloud cleanly, Pascal will just be too fast for Cloud.

 

Pascal doesn't fight like Clinton Woods nor Glen Johnson and Cloud's defense has improved tremendously since those fights.

He slips, catches, and rolls a lot of punches now, I noticed this a great deal in the Mack fight.

 

Great fight.

I hope Cloud is still on for that rumored fight on October 15th though.

Everybody talks about Froch's run of opponents but Pascal's run is pretty stout as well.

 

Must drive Pascal crazy having all these tough fights while Bute gets paid millions to journeymen and has-beens.

 

I think Pascal was paid millions too against Hopkins.

Pascal made decent purse.

 

No he's better than Woods and Johnson. Cloud has trouble dealing with mobile fighters.

Better? Maybe better than Woods the night he fought Cloud, he isn't better than the Johnson that Cloud fought. I'm pretty sure Johnson would have KO'd Cloud if he fought him instead of B-Hop.

Either way, like I said before, Cloud doesn't fight like either of the fighters and he doesn't box as well as Mack.

 

Yes but the millions were deserved for a fight of that magnitude.

I'm a fan of both Cloud and Pascal, and this will be a great fight, but I think Pascal should take a break and then fight a tune-up before another tough matchup.

 

You mean Pascal and I know you're not saying that Mack is better than him...

Giddy up! Even though I'm a huge Pascal fan and I probably make him the underdog I'm a boxing fan first and foremost and this is a great fight. So I'm excited despite the risk. I hope they can get this deal done quick and I also hope that Pascal can get a tune up fight before they get it on b/c right now I'd probably make Cloud the 60-40 favorite.

 

He did the same (stopping the count to yet at the fighter to go to his neutral corner) against a local fighter before the Andrade fight. Its just how he ref. I dont approve, but its not because one ref, does something that is borderline that now all of Canada are corrupts...
