is that all u need to claime a country corrupt... one ref in one situation (not all think that situation was as contraversial as u say) and if u do some reserch u will see that marlin wright stops count every time a boxer leaves his neutral corner, he has done it as well against local fighters.:think

One to look forward to if it happens.
I dont think Cloud has very good skills but he is willing to get stuck in and has a good workrate. I think Cloud is a fighters waiting to get beat and understand him and his teams reasons for wanting to duck Erdei.
They obviously feel its a good gamble taking on Pascal coming off a draw and a loss

Maybe but we were talking about Cloud's defense.

I'm a Cloud fan, but I'm aware of his weaknesses. This is going to be a very, very difficult fight for him. He hasn't faced anyone as explosive and quick as Pascal. I think Pascal is capable of giving any LHW fits.

The one thing that I think that Cloud and his team did well, though they were forced into this because of a mandatory, is fighting a guy like Mack before hand. Why was that good? It was good so he could avoid Pavlik-itis the problem of facing a succession of fighters who move in straight lines and are unable to cope with fighters who start to move. It doesn't mean that he will win the fight(I actually wish he had another tough fight before Pascal like a Diaconu), but at least he's somewhat prepared for what could happen.

It should be a really good fight as both fighters tend to put on entertaining battles.

If Pascal had a boxing IQ, stamina, and a good corner, I would think it would be a tough fight, but Pascal doesn't have that.

And in spite of that he was able to beat the crap out of Dawson and get a draw with Hopkins. Must be doing something right.

Except he didn't beat the crap out of Dawson and Dawson was on his way to probably KO'ing Pascal before the cut stopped the fight (a non serious or threatening cut at that.)

Also he drew with a 46 year old man and lost to a 47 year old man, that is nothing to be proud of.

    So much wrong here.

He hurt Dawson pretty badly 3-4 times in the fight and was up big on everyones card who isn't incredibly biased. There is very, very little to suggest that Dawson was on his way to TKO'ing Pascal. Very little. From the fact that Dawson hasn't scored a knockdown in years(let alone get a TKO in years) down to the fact that Pascal has never been stopped down further to the fact that Dawson really wasn't putting a whole lot together to warrant a stoppage and he stepped off the gas so frequently there was little to suggest that he would suddenly put something big together consistently.

    That cut was bad.

Hopkins is still 46, not 47. When the draw happened Hopkins was 45. It might not be something to be "proud of" because you don't take joy in losses but Hopkins would probably beat up on Cloud when he turns 47, so what's your point? Hopkins is still, somehow, one of the best, if not the best LHW out there.

Dawson's cut was not bad at all, especially not bad enough to stop a fight. Dawson had already caught Pascal very hard when he tried to jump in. Pascal was so hurt that all Dawson had to do was press the gas and he could have got a stoppage, either way the fight was wrongly ended and he went on to B-Hop, who was coming off a "win" in which he made himself look like a damn fool again RJJ.

Pascal struggles and should have lost the first fight against B-Hop and that was with knockdowns. The 2nd fight he gets throughly outclassed again, the same b-hop who got outboxed by shot RJJ and had to resort to theatrics.

If B-Hop thought he could beat Cloud he would have called him out already, he hasn't because he wants no part of him.

No all wrong, its because a fight with Pascal was more lucrative after the win against Dawson.

At this stage, I think Hopkins only wants big fight.

Are you a troll or on drug? Hopkins got outboxed by Jones? I don't wanna tell you the three judges card, because you don't even worth the effort.

And that cut wasn't bad? So now, anwser, are you a blind troll or a blind on drug?

You can debate that the referee stopped early but if you're saying that this cut wasnt bad. Well you're blind.

Great fight if it happens but one has to wonder if Pascal will ever be the same fighter mentally after going 24 rounds with Bhop

I actually think Pascal gained a lot from the Hopkins fights. It's not like he suffered through two brutal wars, and hopefully he learned something. I really like Pascal.

That said, Cloud is a tough matchup for him because of his consistency. Dawson tends to drift and that played into Pascal's hands, but Cloud won't do that. I question JP's stamina and think it could become a big problem, but Cloud hasn't faced anywhere near the competition Pascal has.

Great fight and I'll be very excited if it comes off. I like both of these guys.

Did you mean to reference SweetHomeBama or me? You seem to be answering his post but quoted me.
