Pascal: Dawson or Hopkins up to HBO

    Pascal's promoter, Yvon Michel, told the press today that HBO have up to February the 14th to decide if they take a Pascal-Dawson rematch. He said it was their decision to make. Michel thinks that HBO may not want it, because if that would be the case they would have taken it already. Let's wait then...

    Pascal should rematch Dawson the fight was already agreed on. I'm sure the winner wouldn't have a problem facing Hopkins.

    I can see him pinning Dawson's arms behind his back and yelling "hit him, Jean! What you waiting for? I ain't gonna tell you in French!" and then tossing Dawson's limp body at Pascal a moment later after the first flush hook lands, knocking him out clear of the ring for a 10 count.

    I think hopkins deserves the shot again first, its amazing whats he doing at his age and i dont think hopkins wants to fight dawson anyway, even 6 months to a year may dimishing hopkins chance of getting the belt a fair bit so give it to him imo

    BHop isn't going anywhere soon. The reason he wants to fight Pascal now is because he knows there's a very good chance Dawson beats him in a rematch and he doesn't want to fight doesn't for the title, he wants Pascal and I think we all know why.

    Really, as long as whoever doesn't get the rematch gets first crack at the winner...it's all good.

    If that doesn't happen...it's all very very bad.

    Hopkins first. I'd much rather see Hopkins-Pascal 2 with Dawson taking on the winner (and hopefully fighting before then) than Dawson-Pascal 2. Remember Pascal is contractually obliged to face Dawson, all Hopkins is guaranteed is a shot at the WBC belt. If Pascal faces Dawson and gets stripped then the winner has no obligating to fight Hopkins.
