He just said about winning like a champion and losing like a champion, says froch beat him and he came back stronger...

 

Dawson came across as a whiner. Fair play to him though, says Pascal is the best technical fighter he has fought, hopefully Pascal can fight Cloud or Bute next and Dawson can have a comeback fight then they can rematch next year. Then, the winner of that fights the winner of the Super Six :deal

I think that's the way it will go.

Either that or an immediate rematch.

Both options are acceptable to me.

 

I wonder how many will pick Dawson to 'annihilate Pascal in the rematch' and run te win down? Theres always a few.

 

i think pascal will win the rematch just as i thought he would win last night or this morning either way you look at it

 

I'm still basking in the glory of being the only bloke in the ESB Cup to have picked Pascal for the win ...doesn't happen very often

There are lots of things Dawson can do to win. Manny Steward was right that if Dawson had just taken command and committed to offence that Pascal would have been out of there. There's no doubt that Dawson's skills and technique are superior.

What he lacks is heart and true aggression. He's a decent fighter, but he's been flattered by the quality of his opposition.

But hearing him complain like that... seriously, don't leave it to doubt. Mayweather is a low output guy, very careful, but he NEVER waits for the other guy. He lands hard shots that are eye-catching and he block anything coming back at him. He leaves no doubt he won the round. He makes a decent attack at least once every 30 seconds - it might just be a 1-2 or two left hooks, but he always lands the better shots.

Dawson just doesn't have the greatest ring intelligence.

I would favour Pascal to beat both Dawson & Froch in rematches!

Pascal shows class when he mentions Froch. "You win like a champion & you lose like a champion!"

 

Cause what's the point of making excuses? It doesn't change that you lost. Pascal's obviously very bright and very confident of himself as a person. One loss doesn't define him, he defined himself by doing even better.
