Pascal-Dawson was a very close fight to me. I had Pascal up 6-5, and the 12th was...

setting up to be a great finish. By no means is this fight an upset. Pascal was more than capable of beating Dawson. Dawson showed me that when he lets his hands go, he can fight. Pascal showed me that he is tough as nails, and highly skilled. Both fighters showed a tremendous chin, and there was no domination by Pascal.

Pascal made Dawson pick his feet up, and then unleashed. Dawson didn't jabe as much as I thought, and he still at times found it easy to catch Pascal on the ropes. Pascal used his speed and body punching to offset Dawson at times, and his mistake was going to the ropes. Dawson's mistake was being off balance at times when Pascal attacked.

Two tough guys in their prime fighting a smart, technical fight. I wonder how long it's going to take for one of you

!#@ heads to say Dawson is a bum or that he's done lol...

A great fight in which we did not get to see a clear outcome.

last night I saw it as a fantastic performance from Pascal, watching it again today I see it also had allot of do with Dawson having not showing up. Dawson just didn't do anything. How you got your score is beyond me, i see 4 rounds for Dawson max at a push.

I think the loss is partly down to Dawson and his teams arrogance, not having a challenger mentality and underestimating and failing to study and prepare for Pascal. He really didn't seem to have a clue what sort of fighter Pascal was or how to beat him. Dawson is supposed to be a master boxer but he couldn't beat the man Carl Froch out boxed FFS.

It could also just be down to the fact a fighter that could match Dawson for speed, with a decent punch would always beat him. We shall see if a rematch happens. either way this was a 100% clear win for Pascal.

I wasn't really keeping tabs on the score, but I had Pascal winning by a comfortable margin. Only God knows why Chad didn't step on the gas, and take it to Pascal who was tiring in the second half of the fight. From round 6 Chad should have taken control, but he was reluctant to do so. Very frustrating to watch if you were a Chad fan.

But well done to Pascal, he landed some beautiful shots when he got close. Deserved winner.

I had it 7-4 Pascal but I definitely gave Dawson a sympathy round so really he only won 2 and a half rounds.

I had it 7-4 Pascal but I think Dawson was finally starting to click in the 10th and could justifiably get a 10-8 round even on partial round scoring.

Making it basically a 1 round fight.

I think the stoppage was bad but either way. Pascal earned the victory.

I thought it was closer than the Canadian judges scorecard-thats for sure. That judge actually gave the 11th round to Pascal!
    Beware when in Montreal.:-(

I was at the fight and had it 6-5 Pascal. But I was giving some of the close rounds to Dawson even when I thought Pascal edged it, just to be safe. I think Dawson blew his load in the first 30-40 seconds of that 11th round.

Like a last minute hail mary that almost made it but was stopped short at the 15 yard line, and then the other team has possession of the ball.

everyone on this side of the galaxy think Pascal won, yes the canadian judge card was off, but what is the point to actually talk about it? Just tell me wich Montreal fight was badly scored in the past.
