maybe? ...........but i see a guy backing up all night (pascal) it would indicate he is backing up for a reason. Its boxing it will never change (cash cow wins) underdog has to knock him out to win that simple.
Yeah it was a good close fight, but the wrong guy won. The only way Pascal gets the win there is if you give him every possible close round. He won 4 at best, got walked down all night, got the worst of most of the exchanges, and ate thr majority of the hard shots. Yes he landed some of his own, but I was actually marveling at his chin, he was eating so many RHs so consistently. He should have been substantially down on the cards early. He fought his way back into, but it was more of a tit for tat after the 5th or 6th. I was rooting for him, thought he would win easy.
Pascal was also landing bombs that had Gonzalez on wobbly legs on more than one occasion. It was a highly contested fight and could've gone either way.
Very entertaining fight good close fight I would prefer a rematch between these two than Pascal Kovalev
