Yes of course a **** stamina = glass heart.:-( Watch Pascal-Diaconu 2 and learn just how glassy his heart is.:verysad
Pascal could only draw with Hopkins thats why they are having a rematch. Calzaghe BEAT Hopkins. In fact Calzaghe beat Hopkins in America with 3 American judges and Cortez as ref, in his first fight in a new weight division, when Hopkins was P4P #3 and Ring LHW champ. The best bit is that Calzaghe scored the single highest card against Hopkins ever, 116-111 :smoke. Calzaghe denied Hopkins his usual strong finish, had Hopkins backpedaling and manuvered Hopkins around the ring, landed more on Hopkins than anyone else ever. If Hopkins had of thought he was winning do you think he would have been looking to get points deducted off of Calzaghe? Course not. Cortez allowed Hopkins to hold and have time out and it still wasnt enough . Now accept it and move on. Calzaghe beat Hopkins, quit crying :|
Obviously the Pascal and Slappy White fights against the great Bernard Hopkins were very similar in that both opponents received gifts from the judges neither deserved. To the OP's point, Pascal was enough of a man (and less of a crackhead) to set the record straight due to the questionable decision to get in there and give the fans what they demand, a rematch. Pascal has 10x the balls of a "welfare decision" hype like Slappy White.
atsch Pascal lost to Froch who lost to Kessler who Calzaghe beat Pascal could only draw with Hopkins who Calzaghe beat
He had a choice. I know Pascal personally. In the limo, after the post-fight party I heard him loud and clear say he wanted the rematch.
joe's a ***** and never had heart to begin with. that's why he ran into retirement and started snorting coke to escape to reality of how much of a ***** he is
The sorry crackhead mofo will be back begging for a rematch once the London crack dealers snatch up all his loot. Than Hopkins will come out of retirement still looking like he's 40 and whop that ****** ass. :yep
The fight was ugly as heck. No one in their right minds would buy the second fight between Hops and Calz. He knew that. EVERYBODY knew that. The PPV numbers sold to crap. And everybody knows RJJ is a bigger name just like when Lennox fought Tyson, even disregarding their past prime selves in the ring. And even then, THAT PPV sold like crap too. It's no wonder Calzaghe decided to call it quits. Both Calz and Lennox retired because they knew they were getting too old for this sh%t. Also, Calzaghe fought like an undefeated fighter. He came back and won the fight, making Hopkins win the Oscar's for Best Actor in their fight. Pascal didn't.
You'd have a point if you weren't completely wrong... You can't "run" from a rematch that nobody is asking for. The only people who wanted that rematch were Hopkins, Hopkins' diehard fans, and Calzaghe's diehard haters. There is no conceivable reason for wanting to see that fight again aside from an irrational love or hatred for one of the boxers involved. Everybody wants to see the Pascal-Hopkins rematch.
Hopkins fought such an ugly fight that I dont think anyone really wanted to see a rematch.. it was a horrible clash of styles.
That's a blatant die. Everytime Joe got knocked down and hurt he got straight back up and took it to his opponent looking to punish them he had that much fortitude and pride. Never hid, never held when in trouble, like so many pussies, you guys like to call 'slick black boxers' love to do. He also agreed to fight Hopkins in his own backyard when he was the P4P best in 2003. Joe shouldn't take the blame for Hopkins only having balls back then for smaller elite fighters. Hopkins probably would be happy the rematch didn't happen. That way he can forever cry about the decision. If the rematch had happened Joe would've embarressed him infront of his hometown Cardiff crowd with a neutral ref.
