If Pascal wins hopefully you will come on here and admit that Pascal is better than you thought.

If he loses, I'll admit he's not as good as I thought.

    no excuses either way

This is THE fight I'm looking forward to. I know Martinez/Williams II and the Marquez/Katsidis matches will probably provide more excitement and fireworks but every time Hopkins fights it's becoming history and he has another chance to do so. If he can pull off a win over another younger stronger larger fighter in their prime - his ATG status will rise again.

lmfao it was the same ****ing bute idiot. Just got caught and ran out of juice in the end.

It's the one and only Pascal. Besides, remember that you never know which Jean Pascal will show up, the one which is good/decent, or the one which will look like ****... What you think the other Jean Pascal has now ceased to exist? I wouldn't bet on it, he might show up one night, and JP will be once again like: "This wasn't the real Jean Pascal". His ego is probably too big for him to admit that he looked like ****, so he made up a fake jean pascal he can use as an escape goat... He simply made a joke out of himself with his egotism...

Oh yeah, he's not hte same fighter he once was... Please!

Pascal is good, but not P4P, and although he did face good opposition, ex Dawson (who didn't give good opposition), imho he still has a lot to prove. Poppy Hopkins is a good test, so should be his rematch with Dawson if Dawson shows up to fight and win...

Absolutely. But as I said, it depends on the kind of performance Hopkins puts together. If he looks like a 45 year old man who's too slow and too shot to deal with the faster and younger Pascal, then what has Pascal proven, that he can beat an old shot Hopkins who although he beat a shot RJJ isn't nearly as good as he once was?

That wont' prove much for Pascal, other than he could beat old Hopkins... And that's somewhat my beef with Pascal and the Dawson fight, Dawson was so crap in that fight...

It's like Gayweather beating Mosley, wtf did that prove when Mosley hurt Fraud in the 2nd ran out of gaz in the 3rd? Not much, just showed that Mosley is shot and ran out of juice so early in the fight... The Dawson fight, to me, showed that on that night Dawson wasn't nearly as good as the hype made him out to be...

Pascal is good, and he had/has amazing talent, years ago I was convinced he'd be a world champ one day, maybe even a P4P or the next RJJ (he had crazy speed and power...), but he's still rather wild, not too conventional boxer (technique could be much better), and he's look like **** against shitty boxers really not so long ago. Maybe it was just an anomaly and in his next fights he'll be the next RJJ, but I wouldn't bet on that. The 'other' Jean Pascal, which gets hit, looks like ****, could come back any day imho...

It's not like Pascal has changed tremendously in 2 years, he's relatively the same, maybe a bit more professional, I'd sure hope he gained experience in his bad fights, and will do everythign for them not to reoccur, but, he's no RJJ... I still have him defeating old Hopkins, but if Pascal isn't at the top of his game, this is one fight he might just lose, as I honestly don't think it's too far fetched that an old hopkins schools the big head... We've seen far lesser boxers do it really not too long ago. Who knows, maybe Hopkins will shove Pascal's college diploma in his ass...

So he lost a fight, and instead of being his usual self conceited fresh 'yo' disliked by most for his antics, one of the reason he wasn't nearly as popular as someone like Bute, who's instead modest, humble, etc., he decided, while being watched by millions, not to act like the conceited arrogant dick he's been known for since the start of his career...

Why would you think that is? Because he's changed so much and actually has become Bute, or because he's not an absolute moron and decided not to look like an ass after losing a fight in front of his biggest crowd yet? Think going somethign like "he was ****, I'm the champion, you didn't see the real Jean Pascal" would have worked better for him?

The quick vid I've just seen, and his: "Pascal is invading America, the I'm grestest boxer, I'm the king" after besting a mediocre Dawson leads me to believe he hasn't changed that much. His head might have deflated a bit after getting beaten by Frocht, but it looks like it reinflated after winning a belt... We'll see...

My money's on that he's not that different than 2 years ago... Guess we'll just have to see, If I'm proved wrong, so be it.

What's funny is that I'm not one of one who dislike Pascal. Seriously. I find him hilarious, and even if it's in a pro wrestling kind of way, it's entertainment, even if he does look like a clown in the process, and even if it's all because he has a HUGE HEAD, I still enjoy it and he brings a smile to my face. But of course, if he catches a good one on the nose in the process, that'll also bring a smile to my face, win win situation!

I hope he schools Hopkins, but I want to see Hopkins put up a good opposition... Same for the fight vs Dawson.

Btw, I'm not polish you ****... Where are you located by the way?

Plus, what's the problem with '' I'm about to invade America? '' That's merely self-confidence. Every proud athlete is confident. He wasn't even arrogant whatsoever!

Oh, and, don't be ashamed of your Polish origins. Your hookers have a great reputation. :yep

Wrong, you're located in Jean Pacal's hairy black anus... :smoke

Sure, and in some ways you're a different **** than you were a week ago, but in the end you're the same ****... Same for Jean Pascal. Watch his fight vs Pittman and tell me he's very different today...

Nobody cares about your feelings, like I said, he was/is considered a fresh (he thinks he's "the ****", he's conceited, arrogant, etc) and many said that's why he was not as popular as someone with real class and modesty like Bute. As popularity = $, I can easily see why he'd want to change his pubic image. (pun intended)

Who hates them and who hates big head Pascal? :think

I never said you said he would become the next RJJ or that he looked like him... Reading, *****, learn it... I said years ago I could see that he had talent and I could foresee him becoming a world champ, and maybe even the next RJJ, he had so much speed and power. But to this day, he remains wild and his technique could definitely be improved. Definitely no RJJ...

:bart See Bute, Lucas, Gatti, Ouellet, etc. or any other athlete without big heads for reference...

I already told you I'm not polish... Are you really that dense?

Not as much as your mom... Hoes of hoes! I'm a great pimp but none of my girls even approach her... None would want to get approach her anyhow... In any kind of way... No one in their right mind would... Not even with a 10 feet pole... Lucky she's got you as her best client! Oh snap!!! :blurp

I like both guys. But B-Hop just can't be denied and he will win and defy the odds once again.

There was never a Bute Pascal fight 1 or 2 years ago. It's a pretty recent development and Bute wants to stay at 168 lbs and Pascal won't come down. So it's not that one is ducking the other.
