Good points. Pascal was fooled by the Roy Jones fight and thought “Now’s my chance to get a legend on my resume.”

But I, having watched him in the Pascal fight, knew he’d be exploited by Hopkins – who at this age, is only troubled by young guys with high work-rate. Pascal has poor stamina, and he hates being hit in the body. So as much as I love Hopkins, I have to admit, that he only looked as fresh as he did because of the gassed-out opponent before him.

I am, however, concerned by the amount of times he [Hopkins] was being tagged early on in the fight. But I guess that can be partly attributed to Pascal’s quick and decent offence.

 

Hopkins beautifully timed body punches were the reason he 'won' the fight last time, he realised stamina was a big factor and after getting pascal to slow down, he could control the pace as he wanted it. His countering on the inside was good and he controlled the fight there as well as the outside but I think this time he could possibly score a ko. I know he hasnt for a while but the way pascal lunges in leaves him wide open and if hopkins had been better at countring on the outside in that fight I think he could have got a few knockdowns. Id expect pascal to tighten this area up in the rematch but i cant see past a hopkins fighter, he is the more skilled fighter and will not be outworked to a loss

 

Still think Bhop is not keen on Dawson if he wins.
