Very true, and I'd say it's like that for every other destinations. Trying to say some basics words is always worthfull when you travel outside your native language, even if you suck and struggle at it

 

Love Quebec City! Its pretty much the closest thing you can get to Europe without crossing the pond. The old city is great and the food is amazing! Hope all the out of towners going to the fight enjoy yourselves.
