At his peak, against Andrade 1 and 2, Bute pulled in around 16,500.

Since then, Bute's pulled in 13,600 against Miranda and 11,600 against Brinkley.

Meanwhile, Pascal only used to pull in around 8,500.

Still, against Hopkins, he pulled in 16,500.

In his next fight, against Magee, Bute will probably only pull in around 9,600 whereas Pascal should pull in at least 13,500 against Dawson (assuming the fight takes place in Quebec). This pattern should be set to continue.

Looks like Pascal, the fearless warrior who fights the best do or die, will rightfully become the No. 1 draw in Quebec, whereas Bute's support is rightfully set to haemorrhage. Proof that boxing is really taking off in he Montreal and Quebec and that the fans are becoming knowledgeable, discerning consumers, rather than just sheep looking for a cheap WWF-style pantomime. :good

    nope.

If Bute fought Hopkins, it would be a superfight in Quebec.

. True unless your uncle likes women with junk.

You're comparing apples to oranges. If Bute were to fight a legend like Hopkins, the fight would be a lot bigger than the Pascal fight IMO.

Saying "Pascal-Hopkins did better than recent Bute fights therefore Pascal is bigger draw than Bute" is not a valid statement.

I am not saying THEREFORE anything.

I am saying: given the fights Bute is fighting and likely to fight, his support is shrinking every time, whereas Pascal's support is increasing every time, given the fights he is fighting and likely to fight AND that Pascal is going to be putting more bums on seats than Bute from now on, on average, AND that is how things should be.

Bute is still the biggest draw. Last Pascal fight was in Quebec city. In Montreal, he barely had 8 000 fir his fight against Dawson, who was p4p #5. That was very dicouraging numbers. More people went to see Bute-Brinkley.

When Bute will face a very good opponent, he will pack the Bell Center.
Pascal is developping a good fanbase though.

No. And Pascal is still a mediocre fighter.

By the time Bute faces a very good opponent at home (???) - could be a year or two, Pascal should be a bigger draw against a very good opponent.

Only until Pascal loses to Hopkins & Dawson in rematches. Hopefully Bute will fight super6 winner.

Pretty much says it all, he hasn't fought anyone very good. He's just a pretender, relying on fighting nobodies in his backyard. Yet Butards rate him #1 SMW:patsch

    Maybe 16,000....

But if people had not started to turn against him, it could have been as many as 20,000 by now.
