    Just read that (RDS).

Sorry if you heard it before.

I understand both refusals (Pascal would have to come down and Golovkin to go up).

    What do you think?

Pascal just can't make 168lbs without being incredibly drained and I can understand Golovkin that hasn't truly established himself yet on the American market. Not sure Stevenson would necessarily be the fight to do so, knowing it's also quite risky because of the size disadvantage.

GGG is fighting Oost @ 168. Why would he turn down Stevenson and have a chance to take his mandatory position with the IBF. Strange.

    Pascal declining Ward...Not a shock.

Because ggg is not fighting Tommy at 168. News, as of now, is it will be at a catch weight of about 165.

Fights fell through, then he got injured prior to the Cloud fight last summer.

He has offers on the table for either Dawson on HBO or Cloud on SHOWTIME at some point this Winter.

He was suppose to fight Cloud and the deal was signed but then he hurt or broke his hand and it took longer then suppose to heal!

Huge fan of Ward, but he's starting to annoy me with wanting everything on his own terms.

Never fighting away from home, turning Dawson into a corpse and then trying to do the same with Pascal. If you want to fight Light-Heavyweights then ****ing move up to 175.

    I agree.

i have nothing against ward but don't like double standard... by that i mean paquio getting **** for asking for catchweight while Ward getting praise for beating half dead Dawson (not even at catch weight)

Pascal would probobly not be any good at that weight either... i am a strong beilever if you want a fight with someone at a higher weight class you just go there and take it from them for best case scenario... if they come down in weight then the win is a bit tainted (if it is a weight they generally can't make)

Stevenson is not big enough name outside of Canada for Golovkin to take that risk. I bet if Ward offers GGG will prolly accept the offer.

I would prefer for GGG to stay at 160 , Ward and stevenson at 168lbs and Pascal at 175lbs! it's where they are the strongest. Maybe Ward can move up since nothing much left for him at 168lbs
