the body blows and the big right hand

kovalev wasn't that impressive imo. Pascal hasn't had a ko in years. streuggled against journeymen lately and is generally a 4 round fighter anyway.

having roach just saved him from getting damage with a more conservative approach.

One thing Pascal has over KKKovalev is class. In defeat he is always classy....i remember him giving credit to froch, hopkins and now even kkkovalev. Kovalev on the other hand is a POS on thee samee level as chickenson..... both are scumbags in their own way.... for a guy who killed someone in the ring, he is a real POS.

    ???

Being classy somehow means pretending you like the guy when you don't just because you gave him a beatdown? If you think the guy's a POS you say the guy's a POS, regardless of what happened in the fight.

Think that powerful jab to the body is being overlooked. That'll make you feel tired real quick

Yes I thought the body blows had a lot to do with it too, especially that jab to the gut Kovalev kept sinking in. Kovalev's jab is very stiff and heavy and getting whacked in the gut with it repeatedly is definitely going to take a lot of the starch out of you.

This thread if serious is prove of how moronic fans have become.

Pascal was getting beat to death before your eyes, yet you think there is some great mystery to his lack of performance.

No it's giving credit where credit is due. Showing humility, being magnanimous and not talking about how you want to injure your opponent permanently - coming from a guy who has killed someone before due to excessive punishment taken in a fight - shows KKK is a POS with internet hard guys for fans... People who wouldn't have the ***** to lace up and fight even journeymen

They think it's easy to "let the hands go" when every time you punch you get nailed by a hard counter. Suddenly, that "punch variety" gets really small and so do the opportunities to throw when you're worried about hard counters.

Not to mention Pascal was never a high-energy guy to me.

A crushing body shot can do that.
