why? when chad hit pascal pascal stop punching.
when chad pressed the action, pascal didnt hav his running start to lung and get out of there.
when pascal got hit it hurt really bad, chad didnt want to get hit so he loss. Cloud likes to get hit, pascal wont go for the ko never dont have the heart. Cloud is all heart and power. Cloud beats this hype job
but 1st he must destroy chad and he wont because chad will wake up now and become bad chad again.
pascal will not beat bute
chad vs bute will be next fight next year

 

IDK who wins, but I see it a even match.

Pascal has head movement..Cloud doesn't
Pascal actually has footwork. I didn't see Cloud box 1 rd against Glen

Cloud beats him, I think he walks him down, and when he does contrary to the passive approach that Dawson took, he is going to come with violent force.

Pascal was hurt several times in that fight and OUT on his feet on one occasion.

I called for this pre Dawson Pascal saying I hoped Pascal would ktfo out of Dawson and get it on with Cloud in a big rumble, well Jean didnt ktfo out of Chad but he won and now this is what I want to see. But I think the only way is if Cloud get's past Dawson and Pascal gets past Bute, I strongly suspect we will end up with those match ups instead. Failing that who's up for Dawson Tarver III The Grandad Strikes Back?

Can Cloud deal with Pascal's speed and movement?

Does Pascal have the stamina and chin to avoid Cloud's attacking style for 12 rounds?

So out on his feet that he could move to the ropes on - admittedly - rubbery legs, clinch a passive Dawson, bounce on his feet, jab on Dawson's guard, set him up to land a counter right and finally clinch again? That doesn't sound "out on his feet" to me, hurt as he was. He was recovering surprisingly quickly too. Dawson needs a fire in his ass btw.

This fight depends entirely on Pascal's tactics. He has the footwork needed to stay out of the way and eventually get a late stoppage. Cloud's just THAT hittable and even a good chin can't save him forever. If Pascal brawls too much - it's a more even affair. There's a risk Pascal becomes over-confident and he certainly is hittable. Cloud has excellent power, I give him that. But Pascal has been hurt many times and to this point he has always recovered. I trust his intelligence.

Cloud is not the machine to exploit Pascal's stamina lapses and Cloud doesn't have the reach that Dawson had. He himself is the epitome of a burst fighter - for some rounds he did NOTHING against Johnson. A better, quicker and harder-hitting version of Diaconu but nothing special at all yet. Pascal can handle short, plodding, hard-hitting, unintelligent burst fighters. Let Cloud face Campillo, Shumenov, Cleverly or Murat - he needs more time. I don't trust his ability to cut off the ring sufficiently. He ate jabs like they were breakfast against Johnson and Woods. Pascal has a decent one too.

Pascal TKO 10 if it happens though. He felt some of Johnson's punches a bit and even if Johnson's power is underrated - Pascal hits much harder.

 

Cloud has no defense and no movement. Clear win for Pascal, TKO 8.
