Pascal vs Dawson?

Well, Pascal has a mandatory and then he has to have a rematch with Diaconu, as stipulated in their fight contract. After that then I wouldn't mind seeing Pascal- Dawson. It would be a brilliant fight.

Apart from being very talented as well as having a fantastic chin, Pascal is now a huge draw in Montreal. This is the key to this fight happening, IMO. Dawson doesn't have a 'core' fanbase of people who follow him all around the country and this is one of the reasons hy he can't get a massive fight at the moment.

 

I would rather see that fight than see Dawson go down to 168. After last weekend there's 2 new LHW belt holders and there could well be a third if Tavoris Cloud wins the IBF strap. There have been a shortage of fights worth making for Dawson at LHW but I think that's changing now.

Pascal learn a lot from his first lost against Froch it will be very entersting and entertaining!

Pascal -Dawson will be great too !

HBO goes to Germany to watch boring fights by W. Klitschko but they wouldn't go for this? Montreal is not that far at all..

 

You never know. If they both keep winning and collecting belts then Pascal's bargaining power to have a rematch with Froch goes sky high. Add to that the fact that we'd all like to see Froch-Pascal II. I don't know if Froch would be keen on fighting at 175 though- he's consistently said in interviews he's not interested in LHW. That said, with all the catchweight crap there is now you just never know!:good

 

I think it's doubtful Froch will move up to LH when the bigger fights seems to be at SMW, that said I wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between the two at some point - It's virtually garanteed to be another classic war.
I'd rather see Pascal deal with China Chad first though.

I think Dawson wants to get the IBF belt back or move down to 168 before fighting Pascal.

 

Given Pascal's wild style, he's always a wildcard. He's got great hand speed when he's throwing his combinations.

You would still have to favor Dawson as he's taller, longer and more technical but if Pascal starts landing his wild combinations, how will Dawson's chin react? It could be over very quickly if Dawson's chin doesn't hold up.
