Pascal vs. Diaconu June 19

First Diaconu needs to listen to his corner and not go all out on Pascal because he won't last 12 rounds like that.

Even then, I think Pascal wins a UD or a late TKO.

Yeah, he was outpointed by about 6,7 points against Froch. But against the slow, one dimensional Diaconu, he should be alright.

no WAY. Pascal will kick Diaconu's ass hands down. i favour Diaconu personally, like i did hatton, but i knew hatton was going down in less than 6 rounds. Pascal TKO 9.

I think Pascal will probably win. Diaconu's chin and will haven't been tested that well yet. If he can keep coming in, he can get under Pascal's skin.

Whoever wins, I'll be happy that we've dispatched of one of the Montreal hype jobs. Neither of these guys is good.

 

I'm picking Pascal in this one. I don't like the inactivity on Diaconu's part (even if he had no control over it, it's still not good), Pascal should (key word: should) have learned a little more on how to fight his game from the Froch loss, and has fought the better comp as of late. I'd probably put it at 65-35 in Pascal's favor.

 

Thunder, what are your thoughts on who wins this fight?

I am cheering for Diaconu as I am still hoping we see Diaconu vs Dawson one day. What are Adrian's chances against Pascal?

Are these two with the same promoter, and did either of them ever have trouble with their promoter (contract disputes etc)?

 

I don't have a full idea on the fight because I usually make it in the fight week watchint tape of the fighters then.I don't need to watch that much Diaconu as I need to watch some Pascal more.
Anyhow a week or so before the fight I will make a thread with my full idea and opinion of the fight.Like I said,it's hard to find a better 50-50 match-up.
Anyway I'm happy you are cheering for Adrian too,you bet I am too.
Like I said his chances are 50% IMO.
Ahhh,no,they are with different promoters.Diaconu is with Interbox and Pascal is with GYM.Diaconu did have some promotional issues some time back but he is back on track now.Don't really know about Pascal.Why do you ask?What does that matter?
