Pascal vs Diaconu rd by rd

Diaconu lets his hands go and throws about five or six punches that don't land flush but do land. Pascal has his hands up a little more than normal as Diconu keeps coming forward. Is Diaconu this robotic normally? Pascal looks extremely fluid as he tries to get out of the way of the big Diaconu shots. Diaconu moving in as Pascal holds. Pascal will duck down and tie if he has to if the first two rounds are any indication. He's ducking JUST under the big bombs of The Shark. Jabs from Diaconu and a BIG right from Pascal. Pascal's jab is a nice punch and it has The Shark rather uncomfortable. Diaconu just misses a 1-2 that would've put Pascal to sleep. Diaconu cuting off the ring a little bit better and Pascal islooking to hold a bit more. Diaconu holds Pascal with one hand and Pascal comes back with FOUR or five punches. Pascal looks set to fight The Shark's fight if he has to.

Close round but I've got it 20-18 Pascal.

 

Diaconu is too predictable.

 

Pascal uses ALOT of energy running around... this fight is going to get interesting once he tires in the later rounds... so far 2-0 Pascal.

Good agression.

 

Pascal has now become the aggressor as round 3 begins. Diaconu looks very robotic right now. Diaconu lands a good jab on Pascal. Diaconu has Pascal hurt with four or five right hands but turns out Pascal is playing possum right now. More punches are landing flush for The Shark this round. Pascal taking jabs to the body aand returns with a body punch of his own. Diaconu jabbing to the body now as Pascal and Diaconu tie up. Pascal taking a lot of punches to the ear and the back of the head partially his own fault due to ducking. Diaconu holds on as Pascal lets go with punches. Pascal is letting himself get popped by Diaconu in a bravado showing. Round 3 ends with a bit of a slugfest on the ropes.

The Bell Centre looks real good for boxing BTW. Just has a classy sort of feel to it.

Pascal opens round 4 getting cauight flush by Pascal and we have a slugfest to start it off! Crowd goes RABID as Pascal and Diaconu slug it out for a while. Diaconu won that exchange but Pascal did the wise thing by simply holding on when the tempo got too fast. Pascal is moving and dipping punches which leads to some really wide punches from Diaconu. It also leads to some unneccessary rabbit punches. Pascal CLUBS Diaconu upside the head with his forearm on a hook attempt. This has been a very sloppy sort of round. Diaconu isn't landing anything powerful (or clean) but Pascal is allowing himself to get outgunned and fighting the wrong fight. Pascal landing to the body and turns Diaconu around. Pascal goes downstairs and hurt diaconu with a rabbit punch! These two guys are just brawling. When Pascal fights at a distance his jab and body work win him the exchange. ROUGH ROUGH ROUND TO SCORE because it was such a brutal pace and a tough round.
