I've never heard anyone call it anything but a close war.

Before the Super 6 it was Froch's main international claim to fame.

Most called it the FOTY when it happened.

Good fight- not the one we wanted to see, but I'll take it.

Now if Stevenson can just man up and Ward can figure out if he is even still fighting...

By the way, Kovalev somewhere between six and eight.

    Don't be ridiculous.

I think Kovalev gets him in the 9th.

I hope this proves to everyone on here that Kovalev is for real, and that Stevenson is a joke in comparison. As many of you know Stevenson and Pascal were negotiating for some time, and were close to fighting but it ended up falling through due to Stevensons ludicrous demands(he wanted a 70/30 split) Kind of unfortunate because that all Haitian/Canadian clash definitely would have been a big fight, and a great set up for a future fight with Kovalev. Oh well.... Pascal probably would have beaten Stevenson anyways.

Stevenson has shown what happens when you overestimate your drawing power. Kovalev knows he needs to take the fights to make himself the draw at 175. He did that by fighting Hopkins, and he is cementing himself by fighting Pascal.

I think this is a good fight. Pascal's speed and pop should cause some problems for Kovalev, but I think Kovalev's power, skill, and stamina will win out.

The potential is there for all 3 fights to end in knock outs.

After seeing how Pascal looked against Bute Sergey Kovalev should breeze past him. What is Adonis Stevenson doing right now? his career has been miss managed, he is fighting a no name gate keeper next when him vs. Pascal could have been a massive fight.

Id have thought that would have been the dramatic late JT KO no?

Huge props to Pascal for taking this fight though. Really puts his cowardly piece of **** compatriot in his place. Boxig needs more Gs like Jean "Jhong" Pascal

Froch-Pascal is an underrated classic. I'd love to see a rematch one day. Froch said he would give him one.
