not sure how to rule something like that. Obviously it was a legit angle he threw the punch, and hopkins turned his head. I guess that could be ruled a KD but I'm not sure what the exact rules are in that situation.

Hopkins did this all this career but it's first time someone cought him. They should teach young boxer from that point now, when you about to get hit, don't roll the shot, just turn your head...

Hopkins as been very lucky on this one...

Showtime would call a knockdown if it would be Johnsson/Green but than again, it's a old man, no one has right to hit him like that...

 

The point is, the first KD was a rabbit punch. The one you mentioned was legit and I even said so during the fight. Therefore, Pascal wan't robbed because he should have never got 1st round kd.

Doesn't matter what went on in the past. You judge a fight by what happens IN the fight.

I agree Hopkins is a piece of work.

you know before you posted that video i though it was a good KD. but watching that video i can see that even if hopkins did not turn his head, it would at best landed behind hopkins ear.

 

Hopkins also should got the credit for a knockdown.

 

Bring the video to your next Optometrist appointment, hopefully you have good insurance because your good for another pair of glasses.
