Pascal will beat hopkins easily

I had Hopkins beating Joe by about 4-5 points. True story.

Anyways, if Hopkins does indeed lose to Pascal it will be a matter of age finally catching up to him (in reality it has been gradually doing so for quite some time, he just hasn't faced the quality of fighter necessary to expose it) moreso than anything else. There's no question that he was a far better fighter in his pomp, or even a few years ago. If he loses, no biggy in my book. If he wins, add another chapter to his storied career.

 

Calzaghe pitter pattered the **** out of Hopkins. Calzaghe would always beat him imo.

But on point, my guess is Hopkins yet again pulls of another upset, and beats Pascal by a close, contested SD.

One things for sure, its gonna be a ****ing ugly fight.

 

Interesting to see how Hopkins will deal with Pascals speed; he did well to rack up rounds and damage against Dawson by mounting those surprise attacks and getting back into a safe zone. May be even easier for him cause Hopkins doesn't really have hte reactions or speed to counter or evade that kind of attack.

Never count Hopkins out though, he thrives on these situations and has beaten many people he was tipped to lose, and subsequently retire, against.

 

Rafa and Hopkins would make a nice parlay, I think they both have the skill and experience to pull off the upset. Plus they're both pretty massive underdogs for some reason.

 

No one beats Hopkins easily, you hear me? No one.

Hopkins is going to beat this guy easily, he's going to punish this guy coming in with counters, Hop won't let him run wild throwing a bunch of looping hooks and just stand there like Dawson. Pascal has never faced someone like Hopkins, Hopkins has faced guys like Pascal, he will have a game plan ready.

 

Seriously? Volume punching does not equal pitter pattering the **** out of someone... You should seriously re watch the fight.

 

Pascal might win but it sure as hell won't be easy.

 

Just a matter of time before BHop bites off more than he can chew. I wouldn't bee too shocked if that happens to be Pascal.

 

Don't get me wrong, Calzaghe was a great volume puncher...

Don't think Pascal wins "easy" but I do think he wins it comfortably.
And because the fight is held in Canada :canada, B-Hop won't get away with his "crafty" box of tricks eather.

I'm a fan of both but hoping Hopkins wins and calls it a career. I'll be rooting for my othey guys, the Marquez bros too. Old guys unite and fight your fight! Put the canes down but leave your teeth in! All seriousness though I hope the Marquez bros & Hopkins win their bouts this year.
