    So it's our fault (in Quebec) if people outside Quebec don't like boxing?

    It's our fault if TSN gets better ratings for Curling then they do when they show world class boxing?

    Canadians just don't like boxing in general. Blame them not us.

    A shame that this fight is so far under the radar. Dawson is going to kick his ass. I don't think it's going to be competitive at all.

    And they don't give a **** about the scene in Quebec. Suddenly there's a big fight and someones complains... 'hey.. how come we don't get Quebec fights?'. That's cause you people never gave a **** in the first place. Never paid the PPV, never had national coverage (the AP doesn't count).

    I totally agree that it doesn't make any sense not to exploit the entire Canadian market.

    As matter of fact, I would put certain ordinary fights (mandatories for instance), not the Dawson one of course, on regular non cable stations across the country.

    Everyone nowadays thinks immediate reward and don't focus on the big picture...

    True but the thing is the promoters in Quebec don't really see a point since Canadians outside Quebec have shown no interest for boxing in the last 10-20 years. Like I said, curling gets better ratings then boxing on TSN. While on the other hand 1.2 million people watched Bute-Berrio live on national tv in Quebec.

    PS: I believe Bute-Miranda was available in english on PPV outside Quebec. I wonder if Interbox will do it again? I'd love to see the numbers on that PPV.

    They already did (SRC,TVA) and the rest of the nation wasn't watching. It's not like they didn't try.
