Did anyone ever see him in action? I read alot about his career and usually he is always mentioned as being in the top two or three flyweights of all time. I have never seen any film footage of his fights. I see that there are a few of his bouts available from collectors. Not too much is ever mentioned about the flyweights except for the die hard fight buffs like most of us. They certainly can put on a good bout for the fans however. I enjoyed the Carbajal-Chiquita Gonzales fights just as much as any higher weight class scraps.
I havent either DFW, Ive read a bit about him, thats it. I made a hasty flyweight ranking thread a few weeks ago and not many people said they had seen anything of Perez.
