I have a question for the old timers around these parts. In my gym, there are a bunch of "trainer dads." Former champions and boxers who work closely 1 on 1 with their sons. I think it's really cool. It's a huge boost for these kids to have someone they trust dedicating all their time and energy to personally train them. Some of these kids are the best talents in the gym. It's also great because some of the guys will hold the pads for you, or give you advice. Is this a recent phenomenon? For example, would you see dads and their sons training at Stillmans in the 30's?
